can someone tell me the purpose of flipping the ship? to get the green light thingy? i don't reli get it.. is it so dat they can exit davy jones' locker?? and why did will turner strap people to the barrels?? just a rebellious act?? and one more thing, what deal did Jack make with the bad guy (dunno his name, the high ranked dude who resembles Tobey maguire LOL...)?

Will becomes more and more like Jack Sparrow ~ in looks and behavior. Also, Calypso becoming a giant - that was sort of funny although.. what did I expect?

The movie was really fast paced and lots more action and humor! Alot of loose ends from the first two movies tie up! Stay to watch the little clip at the end, after all the credits!

The purpose of flipping the ship is because they are on the OTHER SIDE of the world. Davy Jones' Locker is in the Underworld so they would have to flip the ship to be back in the world of the living again.

The strapping people of the back is to allow Beckett to follow the trail of the Black Pearl, I think.

And I don't remember the deal anymore. LOL

I don't like the ending either, Sarakoth.

Calypso is a failed big expectation too. And they killed my favourite character Davy Jones, too.

Oh well.

It is 2 hours, 47 minutes long and has lots of subplot which I don't know of because I didn't see Part 2. However there wasn't a dull moment because of the cast, international element, beautiful costumes, and actions.

yeah, I just hate it. I think buy making it the " last installment", i felt that it was rushed ( both for PoC and X men). PoC3 was good but I felt it was too overambitious

XMen's closure was a disappointment to me. and if PoC is gonna stop at 3 then this one would also join XMen. I mean, the ending is rather appropriate for Swann and Turner (the last scene was soooo sweet), but why do they have to show more of Jack later on? the ending wouldve been perfect if they had gone with the Turners' scene

By squeezing so much plot in. You get Sao Feng. You know he has a grudge with Jack, but the story isn't really fleshed out.

You got calypso and Davy Jones, u know they betrayed each other... but the story was so rushed.

There was a bunch of betrayal and lies in the movie that were going left and right. I got a bit confused in the theater. I really need to watch the movie again slowly. I just think the whole 3 hrs and overwhelming sub plots was a bit too much for me at one time

omfg I just got home from watching this..& uhh..I didn't even watch the first or second yet hahaha. I thought this 3rd one was good even though I was confused n kept asking my friend questions
