Facebook vs. Myspace

Which one do you prefer? Facebook or MySpace and the reason why.

There is huge debate all over the net about it and not until I saw VJ from Much Music taking the side of MySpace, did I realize there is a strong following for either of these online social networking website.

i have both but myspace is way better. it think facebook is way too compicated to use and it doesnt really tell much about a person because yu can't make yur own layouts or anything.

facebook was originally meant to be a college network. personally, i found it more secure back in the days. but nowadays, the security has degraded

i'm on both and facebook is for ****s, well it is at my school.
And Myspace is for emos. I'm on both and i prefer myspace since it's better. People in college or uni prefer facebook.

i prefer facebook just because i have an account well, i only made one to keep in touch with others after grad. so the page is still.."empty" and not crazy with 3426 friends *ahem i'm thinking abt making a myspace though.

I absolutely detest the piece of crap that is MySpace. Its design brings back memories of the world wide web from the mid 1990s where the designers had no HTML skill. It's slow, looks horrible, and has way too much embedded junk on it. It's a programmer's nightmare.

Facebook, on the other hand, is simple and clean. I love it.

I have friendster too but what I really like about MySpace is both a blessing and pain... is being able to put music on the website which is pretty cool.

Agreed. MySpace takes way too much work. If I wanted to make a web page I will do that instead of the myspace crap.

am I one of the only ones that's still on xanga? I have a myspace too but I use that purely for keeping in touch with old friends...as for posting I'm still on xanga so I voted for that.

I just joined Facebook a few days ago. Maybe we should set up an Spcnet if there are enough facebook ppl here.

Or would that be too geeky to let our real life friends know we are regulars at an online forum?
