how to remove noise in audacity?

For those pple who used it for the competition, cos my lecture recordings have alot of noise

I will direct you to 0-0-0's producer office, she will help you with the filtering, I am not the producer. I do have trouble filtering the microphone movements. I am just a volunteer singer, but warning, if anyone is still in school had not finished their final exams.

Back in the competition forums, commented, "It is you to blame for finaling, but not anyone else." It is true, the excuses are they sound really great, if deciding taking a final exams or listening to spcnet singers; no comment it is up to your to decide.

Who knows, maybe I will finished the sample song with my friend just for this song only, "Just like your tenderness."

You can't. The problem is not with Audacity. It's your mic. Most mics have white noise.

Recording far away sounds like your prof's voice means you probably have to set the mic volume up high... this only exacerbates the white noise.

i won't offer for the duets because frankly i don't have time. I think i'll need a 5 months stuvac shortly. Assuming there'll be around a 6 months gap, i will have the time to edit entries for the next competition, including filtering white noise, mixing separate tracks for the bg music divisions etc. using a more advanced program like cooledit/adobe audition. i will try and put up instructions as to how to edit these yourself before the competition using screencaps and colourful arrows.
