No, because travel USB drives are better and faster to save stuff on with more capacity.

the floppy disk is dead! unless ur pc dont have a usb port, the usb drive is the way to go...

having said that, i only use usb for large files, otherwise i send it to my gmail as my 'removeable' storage facility

some stuff require a floppy (like SATA driver is most common unless u slip stream)... and there's quite alot of stuff that does require floppy, i don't use one (i never touch those stuff)... but i know that u might need 1 some day. (this is why the new mobo for intel is 1 X IDE 8 X SATA and 1 X floppy), they always have a stupid floppy that take up the space of the mobo.

as for USB, some computer can't boot from USB into DOS, some can but some can't, it's not always guarantee.

Lunar poll implied the use of floppy disk as storage medium...
the typical users wouldn't know how to update their bios drivers. the use of floppy to update bios drivers are only for old motherboards...MB manufactured in last 2 years doesnt need a floppy to update the bios.

I still use the diskette to transport small files from my home PC to my school PC where I print. I don't ever have large downloads where I'd need a USB flash drive. If it does come up, I'll just burn the files onto a CD. I don't like the idea of carrying many files on that little thing. I prefer to email things to myself so I can just download them if I need them for reference.

Ah the good old days, just remembering my first time booting up a computer with a 5.25" floppy disk.... nostalgia attack!

On topic, I don't use a floppy drive anymore.

Memory sticks and usbs for me too, 1.44mb (?) worth of space in a floppy disk... urgh, other than a couple of word documents, floppy disk can't store anything else. There's the other problem of my computer not having a floppy disk drive.

I used to use floppy disks when I was at college cos their computers uses them but nowadays I use usb drives. They are faster, smaller and they store more too, and beside I think they last considerably longer than floppy disks.

    usb drives all the way!

I've used a floppy once in the last 5 years...and I totally forgot how much more time it takes to save and load things. My last two computers/laptops don't even have floppy drives anymore...it's amazing how much technology spoils us nowaday

Windows ME? That is the crappiest version of Windows ever. I think I rather have 98 than ME. Hmmm..... You should upgrade to 2000 at least.
