    I never read OTg so i couldn't tell but i believe it was stated by someone OTG was indeeed in the mign dynasty hope soemoen can clarify

    Neither was the time period of SPW written.

    Readers just inferred they both take place in the Ming dynasty because Wudang exists, and there's no Anti-Manchurian rebel group mentioned.

    The tough part is deciding whether SPW precedes Ode To Gallantry or not.
