i had a bad starbucks experience today. i tried a grande raspberry mocha light frappucino (wow, that's a mouthful), and it tasted really bad! it was bitter and just blah! i'm gonna email starbucks and demand my money back. i'll stick to my caffe vanilla frappucinos.

seriously? was it bitter? oh man now i gotta go try it, then write a mean letter and demand money back as well lol.

yeah, they have really good customer service. one time, i was waiting for a while, and the guy handed me two coupons for a free starbucks beverage. and it wasn't even that long of a wait.

maybe they realize that i spend way too much there. i have a starbucks card that gets automatically refilled via my credit card, and they sent me a statement last year. i spent 700 bucks on starbucks in 2006. -_- when i saw that statement, i decided that i needed to cut down.

it's really not that hard. i used to go almost every morning before work. and each coffee is 3 or 4 dollars. so that's like 15 - 20 bucks a week. T_T now, i limit myself to 2 or less a week.

i'm having kettle corn popcorn, and trying to explain to my friend what it is. O_o the poor deprived girl never tried it. she was like, is it a brand? no, it's a type of popcorn. is it organic? O_o idk! it's popcorn! -_-

is kettle corn popcorn usually sweet? the one that i got out of the boz (the microwavable type) was sweet when i tried it. or maybe they just put artifical flavors in it
but im guessing that youre really using a kettle and putting popcorn mux in it? idk i never made it before either.... O:

yeah, kettle corn is supposed to be sweet. i've had both the popped in a big bronze kettle and the microwave kind, and to me...they taste the same.

ahhh! i see.. and i thought that it was expired lol!
and they also have kettle chips (not like kettle corn but the type where put it in a kettle and oil??) which i find crunchyier than normal chips.

to me, kettle chips seem more deep fried than regular chips. it's probably not true, but for some reason i perceive them that way.

yea i think they are. theyre prob soaked in oil like french fries man theyre prob bad for me but theyre oh so crunchy!

and lol, i remember that i was eating at a BBQ resturant in the city a few weeks ago and choice of potatos were either baked, or french fried idaho potatoes. it took me a while to figure out what the latter ment. i mean how do you fry potatoes french lol.

yum. but unfortunetly the tastiest ones arent the most healthy. but hey, i'll die happy. i went to a burger place in seattle where the whole menu was various burgers, and a side order you had a choice of french fries, big or small, or a baked potato, etc, etc. when my plate came, there was one massive burger (the kind you have to eat with a fork or something) and like,... it musta been 5 pounds of potatoes sitting on on my plate. the plate was huge and 90% of it was french fries.

call me a pig but i ate it all nonetheless

My favourite type of cuisine is Thai food, I just love how they have all the flavours in the one dish, plus I like my food spicy too.

Though someone mentioned that they like Starbucks, Um I don't know if the Starbuck coffee in the USA is any better then the ones in Australia, but I can't stand there coffee, to me, it tastes like watered-down coffee. If I've got no other choice and had to buy Starbucks coffee I have to order my Latte with an extra 1 1/2 shots of espresso just so I can taste some coffee, but that annoys me to do that cas I have to pay extra for that extra shot, and they're quite expensive as it is.

If you say that, it does make me wonder if the coffee recipe is different for the USA and Australia. Like do they use different grains of coffee or the measure of the shot of espresso ect... Hmm I wonder if anyone on this site has tried Starbucks in both countries, if you have, please post up what your experience with there coffee is like.

I love to eat Papaya Salad, I like it when they make it with salted crab and a little bit of asain anchovies (bah laar) I especially like to eat it with Sticky rice. Hmm so yummy.
