How to overcome the Dog-Beating Stick

You are to devise a strategy to overcome the mighty Dog-Beating Stick (possibly the most exquisite Great-level kung fu in LOCH). What would be your strategy?

ChronoReverse mentioned a soft type of attack as the solution.

Personally, I would try to break DBS in one of the following manners:

1. by speed or unpredictable movement - I doubt the Dog-Beating Staff would be fast enough to operate on Dongfang Bubai, Duan Yu, Tianshan Tonglao, Reverend Kongjian, and the Yellow-dressed Lady (just to name some of the fastest/most unpredictable).

2. mind-blowing technique - since the DBS is supposedly designed to counter raw force for the most part, it may not work too well on things like Dugu 9 Swords, The Daizong Way (if anyone can actually master it), or Huang Yaoshi flicking a pebble from 100+ feet away.

3. with a quick brute force - if you break the staff a la Golden Wheel Monk did to Huang Rong, then the Dog-Beating Stick will be no more

This would depend on the wielder of the DBS's speed. If the wielder is fast enough to catch up with his opponent, then DBS will probably won't fail. In this case, it's whether the weilder can catch up with his opponent, and not whether the DBS strokes/techniques can catch up with the opponent.

How about using martial arts that could reverse like QKDNY? Can people like Zhang Wuji reverse DBS's strokes in spite of its complexity?

QKDNY also uses the principles of moving force, so DBS isn't a good candidate for it to be used on. However, the Persian Fire Tablet Martial Arts goes against martial arts norms and might actually be a good match for DBS which also is in a class of its own.

Look at what they have done to the zombie with a helicopter in 28 weeks later, it still look like an extreme dog beating skill to me hehe
