Welcome back HH!

I just got back from my first visit to China (Beijing, Xi'an and Shanghai)

I was there in May

We were lucky that the weather was great in Beijing and the golden tiles of Forbidden City really sparkled!! It was a most impressive sight. I also liked Temple of Heaven with its blue tiled roofs.

The place I liked best was Guilin though - the river, and towns like Tongli were really beautiful and reminded me of old Chinese paintings.

Shanghai didn't impress me much though, I kept comparing it Hong Kong and it fell short on all counts.

Now we have our hero and heroine in a secluded cave (this is JY's signature stamp of romance I suppose). I love these scenes!

Linghu Chong felt apologetic. "Yingying, I can never forget the feelings I have for my little martial sister, please don't blame me."

I love how honest LHC is and how his heart doesn't easily stray. But kudos to Ying Ying for truly understanding LHC, he is lucky to have her. So far she is my second fave wuxia female (first is always Xiao Long Nu)

I went to BeiJing and XiAn and other northern areas last november. They were renovating the forbidden city at the time so part of it was all scaffolded and we couldn't go in. Some of the buildings were already repainted and some were original (at least until the last time they renovated). The repainted areas looked so fake compared to the yet to be repainted section.

Is GuiLin in the south west? Near YunNan? I wanna go there for my next trip. Just gotta find someone to go with.

I'm afraid I don't have as much energy at night as I used to ever since I became pregnant recently.

Thankfully I'm past the first trimester and the nausea and vomitting has retreated!
