You HAVE to watch My Sister in Law is 19...the best K-drama I've seen in many, many years. This one is absolutely great for comedy in the first 7 episodes, gets a bit weepy by the very end, but in general, a great watch.

My Girl was okay in the beginning, but the ending started to drag.

Soulmate is really good, better than I expected...different from other dramas. I like Super Rookie too.

1% of Anything is nice though it's dragged a little at the end.

I though My Sister in Law is 19..was full of drama...I don't think it's light hearted at all...just my opinion

on my recent viewings, i can highly recommend Dal Ja Spring.

for the old favorites it would be My Name is Kim Sam Soon and Delightful Girl Choon-Yang.

Yeah, I think I feel the same way. Some of the light-hearted, comedic taiwanese dramas just exaggerate too much on the comedy side and end up failing to make the audience laugh. i.e. Smile Pasta.

This year "hello Miss" is definitely light hearted drama.. i very cute and funny.. Also the same actress "my girl"..
though i like 1% of something, the story is rather boring..

for japanese drama: i only watched a few
Hayi dori dango..lolz i dont remember how to spell it sorry..

There's not that much drama in the beginning...it's "eventful" but not so much melodrama as comedy. In the latter half, yeah, I guess lots of drama. So people can only watch the first 7 episodes if they like comedy only.

indeed...also, even high-rated light hearted taiwan dramas fail to amuse me as much as light hearted kdorama did (eg i prefer kim sam soon, chun hyang n full house way better than devil beside u n iswak..)
