At the end of ROCH, when everyone was on Mount Hua, XLN and YG went off to explore one of its peaks, 玉女峰 and came to this temple called 玉女祠. The statue of 玉女 in the temple resembled Lin Chaoying somewhat.

With the exception of LOCH '82, every LOCH adaptation seems to dress Fung Hang as if she were Japanese (kimonos, etc.). Why?

Was Wong Yung's mom supposed to be Japanese or Korean or something, because she certainly doesn't dress like a Chinese woman of the Southern Sung era.

Well, I'll still give it to Bao Xiruo since her beauty kicked off the entire wheel of events that makes up the Condor Heroes trilogy. Feng Heng and LCY's beauty didn't make any impact plot-wise.

Feng Heng 冯蘅 sure is not a Japanese name. To be fair, however, as there's no mention of where she came from in the novel I think it is acceptable when directors have insisted on giving her some Japanese traits. Taohua island is located in the East China Sea after all. God knows if she was a Chapanese.

Feat-wise Bao Xiruo hands down. Wanyan Hongle's status alone (plus him being described as quite handsome) could get almost any woman he wanted yet he was fully willing to dedicate himself to a widow who didn't like him back and even raised her son to the point that he prefered him over his own father.
