    Default usb port unrecognised

    i tried to install a external hdd but it didn't work. now my laptop can't recognised usb devices, it keeps popping up a msg saying that the device has malfunction, even though theres nothing connected.

    anyone know wats wrong? how do i fix this?

    without re-installing windows if possible.

    i have tried to uninstall the driver for the hdd but i can't find it.
    i have tried restoring my laptop to an earlier time. didn't work.
    i had thought there was sumthing wrong with my drivers but i it says my drivers are fine (windows).

    sum1 plzs help...i'm in the middle of exams and this happens to me.

    my other two back up desktop have also bite the dusk last wk, one after another.
    Currently in love with Bae Suzy...for superficial reasons.

    i don't think u understand the question. i wanted to fix my usb problem. i don't need storage space.

    i over nearly 2 tb worth of storage space. :laughing:

    thanks for u concern anyway. i fixed it myself this morning.
