I made this thread to sorta pay my tributes to Wee Tian Beng's work on RoCH's comics. Singaporeans like me would know the comics quite well because they caused quite a stir years ago. Incidentally, Mr Tian Beng's work was what exposed me to the Jiang Hu of Jinyong and naturally my favourite novel of his is RoCH. I've never read the novels but have been building up my knowledge mainly by watching the Condor Trilogy on television. TCS broadcasted Xiao Ao Jiang Hu when I was young but alas can't remember the story anymore (but I know Linghu Chong's Dugu Jiu Jian!)
I have the full set of 18 books in chinese which are out of print but the english ones are still available! Here's a picture of the covers: http://sg.auctions.yahoo.com/sg/i:Return%20of%20the%20Condor%20Heroes%2C%20Shen%20 Diao%20Xia%20Lu%2C%20Complete:228560572
A quote from Wiki: "Asiapac Publishing acquired the rights to produce an illustrated version of The Return of the Condor Heroes in 1995. Artist Wee Tian Beng, with the approval of author Jinyong, produced an 18 volume series chronicling the adventures of Yang Guo. The lavishly illustrated series, which was translated by Jean Lim, won the Prestigious Award in 1997 during the Asian Comics Conference held in Korea."
