    yes, you would use 'liquify' to make a few changes to the size of an object.
    i've actually given my friends like a full make over with ... making their chest area look more 'perky' and their tummies 'tighter'. hahaha PS can create or alter an image. i personally don't like using those 'skills' when i photoshop. i stick to just adding layers and stuff.

    **********
    i created a step by step screenshots of how to get that 'glowy' skin affect. i hope it'll help you. if you have any questions let me know.

    first of all here's my final product with extra stuff i added.
    $this->handle_bbcode_img_match('http://i145.photobucket.com/albums/r220/baccardixx/KimJyeEun.jpg')

    step one:
    $this->handle_bbcode_img_match('http://i145.photobucket.com/albums/r220/baccardixx/Gaussian-1.jpg')

    step two:
    $this->handle_bbcode_img_match('http://i145.photobucket.com/albums/r220/baccardixx/Gaussian-2.jpg')

    step three:
    $this->handle_bbcode_img_match('http://i145.photobucket.com/albums/r220/baccardixx/Gaussian-3.jpg')

    step four:
    $this->handle_bbcode_img_match('http://i145.photobucket.com/albums/r220/baccardixx/Gaussian-4.jpg')

    AND THERE YOU HAVE IT! LET ME KNOW IF YOU HAVE ANY QUESTIONS!

    EDIT: What about using Layer -> New Adjustment Layer -> Color Balance

    I change to green and add the Alien Skin Xenofex puzzle-effect

    $this->handle_bbcode_img_match('http://www.spcnet.tv/forums/picture.php?albumid=77&pictureid=749')

    Weave pattern and snow effect

    $this->handle_bbcode_img_match('http://www.spcnet.tv/forums/picture.php?albumid=77&pictureid=750')

    wow! those are great! you're learning so quickly! maybe you don't need me anymore! haha

    i find that it's easier to just add a new layer and color the image a solid color, then set it to multiply, then lower the opacity. i hate playing with the color balance stuff, i never get what i want.

    What!!?, I still need a lot to learn. I learn it quickly because I can stay in front of the computer trying my CS3 (trial and error) for hours and forgetting other things . You always make those technique so easy. Thanx for another great tip.

    i sit/lay on my bed with my laptop and Photoshop for hours every night!

    okay, i'm at work but i'll run you through the steps to put a border on.

    1. open an image.
    2. duplicate [ctrl +J]
    3. right click on the duplicated image.
    4. go up to blending options
    5. check the 'stroke' box and click on the word 'stroke'.
    6. click on the drop down and change to 'inside'
    7. click on the 'color' i think default is red, change to black.

    there! you should have a black border now! if you have questions just ask.

    yes, you can create your own drawings, but i'm not so good with those features. i only like enhancing pics for posters and such. sorry, i can't be of any help in that area.

    and yes, you can turn your image into a sketch and all those other goodies. i'll make a tutorial for you when i get home. it's much easier with screenshots.

    yes it's possible, but going to use the mouse for it will be very difficult. People usually use tablet pc for photoshop handrawing. Look at the screen-cap below.

    Table PC:

    $this->handle_bbcode_img_match('http://www.spcnet.tv/forums/picture.php?albumid=73&pictureid=757')

    A guy drawing a sword using tablet pc and photoshop:

    $this->handle_bbcode_img_match('http://www.spcnet.tv/forums/picture.php?albumid=73&pictureid=756')

    Thanks atlantean
    Only photoshop and tablet pen replacing the mouse. For drawing you can use the pen tool. The icon just above the Text icon .

    $this->handle_bbcode_img_match('http://www.spcnet.tv/forums/picture.php?albumid=77&pictureid=758')
