    Default Linda Ronstadt

Linda Ronstadt is an American singer of Mexican/German descent who was a highly successful international pop star during the 1970s and 1980s. She's withdrawn from the spotlight a bit in recent years and records more Latin folk music than pop/rock these days, but she's always had a great voice. Here are two of her classics:

Linda's hit rendition of Buddy Holly's "It's So Easy"

...and her wonderful rendition of Roy Orbison's "Blue Bayou"

Britney, Ashlee, and Hilary need to take note of Linda Ronstadt's singing and listen to what a *real* female vocalist sounded like back in the day.

No, just waiting until I pick out a few good ones to showcase.

In order for those three to improve their vocals they must have a decent one to begin with. And sorry to say they don't.

I think Alicia Keys is a great singer. I could listen to her all day and night.

She's quite a pianist too, I hear. Didn't she do a duet with Stevie Wonder some time ago?

Didn't they perform at the VMAs together? I don't remember.

Some music trivia that not everybody knows: when Linda Ronstadt recorded her first solo album in Los Angeles in the early 1970s, she needed a band of musicians that could play both country western music and rock. The five session musicians she assembled to record with her soon evolved into the Eagles.

    Default Don't Know Much

Both Linda Ronstadt & Aaron Neville have great voices! Really like this song that sang by them. Don't Know Much (MV)
