If I recall correctly, it was Courtney Cox of FRIENDS fame, years before she became famous on FRIENDS.

Hey I know quite a few of those 80s subjects you have here, such as Cyndi, Blondie, Berlin. I like some from 60s and 70s too. And there's the Platters, Lobo, anyone? Hmmm Elvis Presley? I love Jailhouse Rock.

One genre we forgot and had a big impact.....Freestyle.

With the likes of Stevie B., Rockell, Johnny O
    And my all time favorites
    "Funky Little Beat"-Connie
    "First True Love"-Tiana

    Long live Freestyle!

Due to several complaints, I will stop using the terms "Babe" and "Baby" in reference to our female counterpart. They will now be replaced with "B*tch."

OMG, where the hell have I been? I completely missed this thread!

Bruce Springsteen rocks forever! "Born in USA" is definitely a classis. I don't care how shitty America is at time, but whenever I listened to this song, I feel a sense of pride and is proud to be an American!

Today is Monday, the most boring day at work and I was quite blue. The only thing that could cheer me up was Blue Monday.

Another oh-so-80s classic by another oh-so-80s performer. Ladies and gentlemen, the late, great Robert Palmer, in the unforgettable video for his 1986 smash hit "Addicted to Love."

Stand by Me is an old old song, but it was rereleased in 1986. It's one of my favourite songs. The movie that came with the rerelease was also great. Every time I listen to this song, it always reminds me and me growing up with my friends who lived in the same neighbourhood. We all loved Stand by Me the movie and the song, such good memories.
