Snape - death by Nagini
Tonks & Lupin - probably death by Dolohov
Mad-Eye Moody - Voldemort
Voldemort - Harry (avada kedavra deflected by expeliarmus and the deathstick)
Wormtail - Silver Hand
Dobby - Bellatrix
Bellatrix - Molly Wesley
Fred - explosion
hedwig - death by wand curse - avada kedavra?

I guess the main reason for our difference in opinion that I don't read fanfics. Since I didn't suffer from fanfic overload (though I had heard it before), the idea is fine by me.

For the good guys, none of them are who I would consider to be major deaths, actually.

I was sad when Hedwig and Dobby got blasted though.

yea, i felt more for the creatures than the characters. I was really disappointed because i thought harry, hermione or ron would die and none of them did. If i wanted a tearjerker, i would have hoped for neville to die.

I was too busy being angry at snape getting killed off
i can imagine how people might have been sad at the "look at me" line though.

As I said before, I think JKR already fulfilled for both side, side who want harry die in the end and survive in the end

- Harry should die because of the killing curse - avada kedavra
- JKR use indirect deus ex machina to allow harry's return by making harry a horcrux

I think it is very intelligent of JKR to plan this earlier even from book 1 where he give clue of harry as horcrux by making him a parseltongue but not a slytherine with the boa constrictor scene at the zoo.

LOL, I read in one forum, someone had a wild guessing that this same boa constrictor is nagini - huh

I'm actually just wondering what house Andromeda (Tonks' mom) was in. Although she's from the Black family, I do not think she's in the Slytherin House. All or most Slytherins are supposed to be evil and muggle-hating according to JK Rowling so there is a high chance Andromeda was actually a Gryffindor.

yes, i assumed the girl teddy was "snogging" (i'm so sick of that word. It's been used 1000x in the last few books, 5th and 6th in particular) was fleur's daughter.

I saw on the news that some of the HP7 had some missing pages, and the people with missing pages had to go exchange them for a different copy.

Grandmother. His grandfather was killed.
Harry at 17 would hardly have been ready to raise a child. Letting his grandma bring him up makes much more sense.

We don't know for sure whether Teddy had any werewolf characteristics or not. Anoher thing left up to our imagination.

He was mentioned - during the final battle. Roughly the same line where Slughorn came back.
