Reset "Search" results to 500?

Heya, SC.

I remember that the Search engine here at SPCNET Forums previously yielded up to 500 results per search. Now, the limit seems to be 200. Any chance of restoring that limit to 500?

u actually go through more than 200 results

yea there should be that much to search for..

i think spcnet had said before that the search queries are very server intensive. so you should probably bite the bullet and click on a couple of more pages instead of slowing down the entire site for others and risking a possible crash. it IS for the greater good.

I reset to 300 results. Let's see if there are any performance problems. However, you should also consider refining your search keywords if it is returning 500+ results - are you really getting what you need out of a search if you still have to go through that many results?

It's more for archival purposes than anything.
