Which geographical production would you rather watch? (Note: Hong Kong has been divided into TVB and ATV because they are big enough to be separated.)

How come America isn't divided into NBC, Fox, ABC, CBS, and cable channels. They're all bigger companies than TVB and ATV.

All I know that America tv shows are huge internationally. In the US, their like small potatoes, unless their sports involved then its huge. Some international watchers liked, Prison Break, Heroes, Desperate HouseWifes, Grey's Anatomy, Friends[off the air], 24, etc.

It depends... When it was in the 80s, I watched mainly TVB ancient series... But now, if it is ancient series I would see Mainland CHinese series. However, if it is a modern idol series, I would see some of the Taiwanese ones and that's it... I guess it just depends on whether it is modern or ancient..

Not a lot of fighting scenes in Korean series but I enjoy them more than Wuxia Series. Korean's actors/actresses in 'Jumong' & 'Ballad of Seodong' & 'God of the Sea" were better than the chinese series. They're very good with their facial expression.

i don't understand why I can't get into korean series.I think it is the way they act. The overly dramatic crying and bulgy eyes when they yell at one another.

and you get japanese series? now, that is what i call overly dramatic. i know some of their series were based on mangas...but i would rather watch the anime than the live action. they seem to scream on every sentence.

I believe korean series screams more than japanese. I don't think the japanese language enables you to really scream.. Something about k drama when they scream, they bulge their eyes up and starts to blow out air.

I felt 10 times more touched watching 1 liter of Tears over any cancer/love sick korean drama thus far. There are some japanese series that are really fruity and cheesy which I ignore, but there are also alot of other japanese series that are interesting and SHORT. Cupid no Itzura, Liar Game, Pride

I felt that although Hana Yori Dango was based on a manga the j drama was much better than the taiwanese version.
