Some connections between KO One and The X-Family:

1. Lei Ke Si and Xia Yu hold grudges toward Da Dong (over An Qi) and Xia Tian (being the keeper of Feng Long Ka). They both turn into evil because of this jealousy.

2. Wang Ya Se and Lan King Wang hate Da Dong and Xia Tian from the start, but later they become (best) friends.

3. Sha Jie and Xia Mei constantly 'torture' Jin Bao San (verbal abuse) and Ren Chen Wen (electrocution).

And Sha Jie/Xia Mei always no one loves except Jin Bao Shan/Ren Chen Wen.

I hope Lan Ling Wang will like Xia Mei at the end.

Why the scriptwriter left out Lei Ke Si from the Gold Dimension segment? He should be included. He's Da Dong's BFF leh. Also, doesn't Xiu need them to recover power to fight evil? Lei Ke Si and Tian Hong Guang are KO2 and KO1. Why not recruit them as well?

Hate is too strong a word. Lan Ling Wang doesn't hate Xia Tian. He's just following orders. Ya Se also doesn't hate Da Dong. He just wants to challenge Da Dong's position as the leader of the class.

Just curious. Have Gui Long, Gui Feng and Gui Wa ever did anything really bad? The only things I see them did when they appear are:

Gui Long
- drink milk
- act arrogant and rude
- hold open-air concert
- make people have pregnancy symptoms for 3 days (by product of his kissing)

Gui Wa
- scare people

Gui Feng
- act arrogant
- admire himself
- sleep
- watch TV
- heat up the house (I don't think he means any real harm. He just wants to make the Xia family release him)

I really like what Gui Feng did at the end. I wonder if Gui Long also considers the Xia Family his family.

I can't remember if any of them does anything specifically destructive to their dimension/universe. Gui Wa and Gui Feng are harmless alter egos. Gui Wa and Xia Mei actually look more like best friends to me. Xia Mei can summon Gui Wa whenever she wants, and Gui Wa will obediently listen to her "master". The narcissist Gei Feng is less agreeable, but other than heating up the house, he doesn't do much damage. Gui Long is something else. He is not as cunning as Lao Zhang Men, but he's evil in his own way. He's a very strong and dominant alter ego. He even wants to destroy Xia Tian because he doesn't want to be suppressed by him. But when facing a common enemy, Zack, he's willing to cooperate with Xia Tian. I don't know but I'm just fascinated with this bipolar characters Xia Tian/Gui Long =P

Xia Tian so bad. After the fight, Xia Tian woke up and went to check on Yan Wu and Lan Ling Wang. After that, he ran straight to the back to check on Han, passing by Xia Yu who was still lying on the ground. He didn't even stop for 1 moment to check whether his big brother was ok or not. What's with that? So 重色輕兄 lah.

So, after the 5 elements originators pass their elements to Xia Tian, they all lost their powers? How come they all still go and fight the Fire Ambassador with Xia Tian with no power?
Who is maintaining the energy of Iron Dimension after Yan Wu lost his powers?
At the end, is only Xia Tian the only one to go to Gold Dimension to transfer power to Da Dong?
So, Gui Feng also lost all his powers? Big sacrifice leh, given that every time he comes out, he receives hostile treatment from everyone around him.

I don't think the 5 elements originators completely lose their powers after passing their elements to Xia Tian. Even after the final battle with the Fire Ambassador, I still don't think that they lose their powers like Da Dong, Ya Se, Xiao Yu et al did when fighting Hei Long in KO One. Otherwise, how can Xia Tian play Tie Ke Wu Ji ("na ge"/the guitar) to open the dimension portal to save his mom? And how can Xia Tian transfer his power to Da Dong? If they all really do retain their powers, then Jiu Wu should still be the one maintaining the energy of Iron Dimension.

I'm pretty sure Xia Tian, Lan Ling Wang, and Jiu Wu will all go to Gold Dimensions to save their alternate counterparts. If Xia Tian is the only one needed, then why would Xiu look for Ya Se's and Xiao Yu's counterparts as well?

I'd say Gui Long, Gui Feng, and Gui Wa are the "evil" souls residing within Xia Tian, Xia Yu, and Xia Mei. They are the products of their dad's Ye He Na La evil bloodline.

Hmm, I think he only needs to say the activation keyword once. It should lock Gui Feng as long as Xia Yu puts on the necklace.

Do you mean Feng Long Tie instead of Feng Long Ka? Feng Long Ka is Gui Long's pick that contains info about power-users. Feng Long Tie is the patch to suppress uncontrollable/unstable power. When Xia Yu turns into Gui Feng, he has his own power, just like Gui Long and Gui Wa. Technically speaking, Feng Long Tie should be enough to suppress Gui Feng the way it does to Gui Long and Gui Wa, but Gui Feng is so powerful that not even Feng Long Tie can control him completely. A more potent Bing Gu Zhou is used to seal his power instead. If Xia Yu puts on this Bing Gu Zhou necklace, he then cannot use his yi neng (it cools off his fire).

But, he RAN PASS HIS OWN BROTHER to check on his girlfriend. I don't mind him checking on Jiu Wu and Lan Ling Wang first because they were nearer to him. But, when he ran pass Xia Yu, Xia Yu was just a few centimeters away from him. How hard is it for him to stoop down and check on his brother for a while. It ends up with Lan Ling Wang picking up Xia Yu after checking on Xiu while Xia Tian just kept on hugging Han. He went to check on his 2 friends and then ran pass his brother to check on his girlfriend, leaving his brother lying on the ground.

1) I know they didn't all lost their power through fighting Fire Ambassador. So, I have no problem with Xia Tian still remaining as Zhong Ji Tie Ke Ren and saving his mom with his power and transfering power to Da Dong. This is not the part I'm confused with.
2) I think they lost their power is because after transfering power to Xia Tian, Jiu Wu has said more than once that he didn't have 'yi neng'. Xia Yu was also saying the same thing to Xia Mei when Xia Mei was blaming him for something. He said he didn't have 'yi neng' anymore. That's why I was wondering whether they still have power after transfering their elements.

I really don't know what to make of it. I guess you are right about them still having some powers. But if Jiu Wu can't even use Wu Feng (the gun), his power must be pretty low. But, in the other hand, he might just be saying this because the refuse to shoot his master.

From the last episode, I still think that only Tia Xian goes to Iron Dimension.

Haha, Xia Mei not bad. Can find out all the places Xia Yu keeps his money and even find out his ATM password. She might not be smart academically, but pretty smart in other areas.

Only the scriptwriter of Zhong Ji Yi Jia can think of such a thing. Nothing can stop Xia Yu except Xia Mei's threat of using up all his money.

It depends on what kind of genre you like. Do you like fantasy genre? Do you like series that talks about special powers, the magical world, demons, magical doctors etc and have a silly kind of humor? Do you like series that are not romance centered? The X-Family is not like the usual idol drama where romance is the focus and where we follow the journey of the 2 main leads in their road to love and happiness. It's more anime like.

Some people (like me) like The X-Family and KO One a lot, but some can't get pass episode 2.

I've give a brief synopsis:
The X-Family is about a world where people with special powers and people with no powers co-exist, but people with special powers usually keep them a secret. The story centered on Xia Tian (Jiro) whose mother comes from the family of white magic while the father comes from the family of dark magic. Because of that, he has another entity inside his body (or maybe it's his evil self) which he can't control and need external help. The series is about his journey to control is power and become Zhong Ji Tie Ke Ren to prevent the Iron Dimension from being taken over by evil forces. This is the main plotline, but, inside has a lot of subplots and things happening. Quite a lot of touching moments in the series and some pretty funny and interesting characters. This is the sequal of KO One. Some characters (Da Dong, Xiao Yu, Ya Se, Duan Chang Ren) in KO One will make brief appearances in The X-Family on and off.
