2 euro hostels? Can you recommend some names?

One of my best experiences was meeting people in the Amsterdam hostel. To make that time all the more worthwhile, I met my long time hero Laviathan

A few more sights to see in SF:

-Annual run around the city naked festival

-The Unofficial Gay capital of the world

-Francis Ford Coppola's film studio, conveniently located near Chinatown.

-The wild parrots of Telegraph Hill

-As mentioned by Lunar, The world's crookedest street

-For a panoramic view of the bay area, climb atop Twin Peaks: originally known as Breasts of the Indian Maiden

Of course, no visit to SF would be complete without a trip to nearby Berkeley.

Great, memorable experience. I was there for only 1.5 days. Next time it will definitely be longer.

If you go there, do yourself a favor and stay at one of the popular hostels, such as the Flying Pig (voted the world's #1 hostel).

no, OC is a county. L.A. is a city. Then you have the city of Orange and L.A. county.

Babe, you can spend a night at my place if you decide to come to Cali. Im sure my mother wont mind.
Due to several complaints, I will stop using the terms "Babe" and "Baby" in reference to our female counterpart. They will now be replaced with "B*tch."

Garden Grove and Westminster are cities in O.C. which is a county next to L.A. county.

I checked on the web and it looks like prices have gone up. Seems to be closer to 10 euros now - still not a bad deal. In Europe, you could get a membership that reduced the price even more, but I haven't been able to find any information on it. Check this site and maybe pick up the free pocket guide mentioned in the bottom right corner.

I had a travel book with lots of good information like the hostel membership, but I gave it away after my trip and I can't remember what it was called.

Just found this one that might be worth checking out too.
