I think this series is still in the post filming stage when they are editing and stuff. I can't wait to see this but I just hope that it will still make sense without a part 2.

It's good that CP3 doesn't really directly relate to CP even though it is said to be a prequel...which means it works great as a standalone. It is often the case with RPG games, you can still play them without have played the previous games as each game has its own story (bit like Final Fantasy). However there will be some similar *themes* which tie the series together.
Haha...they've kept the twisted love triangles in like the first Paladin!![]()
Well, I think I might check this out. I tried to play the game, and generally liked the story(or at least the beginning). But it's just so difficult to play Chinese RPGs after being spoiled with Japanese ones. The difference in quality is just so ridiculous.
not watching anything specific at the moment.

Nice poster. Yang Mi looks really cute. I would've switched her position with Wallace though. Hope the summer release is true.
After CP3, I sure hope they consider making CP4 since it looks really good too.

Is it just me or did no one find him really good in Butterfly Lovers?!? Seeing him in that was what drew me to him...he's SO refreshing as a bad boy!!!![]()
ting er are you talking a bout hu ge in butterfly lovers? thats the remake with wu zhun and charlene choi right? is it any good? story wise? action?
Yes, that is the one I'm talking about! It's an *ok* film, a little lovey-dovey in places which makes it slow but that's expected! The twist of the traditional tale is good, instead of using scholars they use martial artists, but the action is a little too choreographed for my liking. Aside from Hu Ge, I really liked Harlem Yu, he definitely made me laugh in parts. I was a fan of Wu Zhun in Taiwanese drama Hana Kimi and Romantic Princess (which made me want to see the film in the first place) but after seeing this, I didn't particularly think he was amazing. I was more captivated by the character Ma Cheng En. Although he's not in a lot of the scenes, you do feel his pain in unrequited love and I, like I mentioned before, particular love the scenes where Hu Ge completely loses it and goes crazy!
I remember watching the Tsui Hark film with Charlie Yeung and Nicky Wu when I was very young, I can't actually remember the ending. But the ending in Butterfly Lovers is similar that of Romeo and Juilet, very sad and tragic. If you're a fan of Wu Zhun or Charlene Choi, it's a must see (and if you're a Hu Ge fan, then its a bonus).
I thought I'd share THIS with you. ENJOY!!!
