Kinda sounds like LMFAO. I read somewhere that Psy been around much longer than LMFAO so I don't know who's copying who. As for the song itself, it's only popular because of the goofy dance move.
I would love to change the world, but they won't give me the source code.
The full song is about 4min+. I have a friend who dance to the song 3 times a day once. She said it is the best exercise.
it's this generation's macarena
I'm not Korean, but I am Asian, and frankly, the song and its accompanying video embarrass me.
Between this and William Hung almost a decade ago, non-Asians will probably think the only pop music that Asians can do is spaz-out stuff.
I heard it on the local radio in Indianapolis about 2 weeks ago. It was like "whoa". Now it's #2 on the US billboard chart.
+1
I think so. I don't care for the music. The video is fun, but why it's getting so much attention is beyond me.it's only popular because of the goofy dance move.
heard the song on a local hip hop radio station too, but tbh... the song just isnt that good without the MV

I heard the song while at Boiling Crab and everyone started moving and singing along to it. For me, I actually like the song itself more than the MV, but for the rest of the world, it was the MV that sold them. A few people have told me that this whole phenomenon makes them embarrassed...but I don't think of it that way. It's just entertainment.

It's popular in our country. Every kids here, know that song. :3
Gangnam Style passes as a song (because of one of the verse where it was a slow rap; it's the only thing that makes me appreciate GS as a song) but it's more of a trend.
I live in Malaysia, and this kid yesterday kept singing 'KL Style, KL Style, KL Style'.. and he's about 6 or 7 so he's not cute. I felt like pulling a Batman & Robin on him because I was hungry.
