    1) How long did the Hundred Years War last?

    2) Which country makes Panama hats?

    3) From which animal do we get Catgut?

    4) In which month do Russians celebrate the October Revolution?

    5) What is a camel's hair brush made of?

    6) The Canary Islands in the Pacific are named after what animal?

    7) What was King George VI's first name?

    8) What color is a purple finch?

    9) Where are Chinese gooseberries from?

    10) What is the color of the black box in a commercial airplane?

    I knew this quiz from somewhere, and all the obvious answers are obviously wrong.

    Alas, trust a kiwi to know the truth about the kiwi fruit.

    Hint for the other answers.
    3) Catgut is used to be used a lot in medical suturing. It obviously wasn't made from cat but another 4-legged animal.

    5) Camel's hair brush consists of hairs from animals not named camels.

    8) Purple finch is a type of bird where the male and female birds have 2 different colors. The male color descriptions is conflicting sometimes.

    3. What is Pope John Paul II's first name?
    4. How many members are currently in the singing group 7 Flowers?
    5. How much does a ten gallon hat hold?
    6. What are lead pencils made of?

    A Canadian asked me if the Kiwifruit was the egg that came from a kiwibird. I told him the egg was much bigger and we are not allowed to even touch it, let alone eat it.
