People, try this and see what kind of looney/psycho are you?

I've got the ISTP again! ISTP: The Psycho Vigilante!

From OkCupid.com's LONG Scientific Personality Test, taken a long while ago:

    INTJ-You scored 9% I to E, 32% N to S, 52% F to T, and 32% J to P!

    From Humanmetrics.com:

    2007 results-I(67)N(50)T(38)J(67)
    2009 results-I(67)N(62)T(75)J(56)

    From kisa.ca, taken just now:

    Introverted (I) 89% Extraverted (E) 11%
    Intuitive (N) 68% Sensing (S) 32%
    Thinking (T) 75% Feeling (F) 25%
    Judging (J) 73% Perceiving (P) 27%

So far the values fluctuate from time to time, but the general group remains the same. Fascinating, really.

For Cedric's question, I guess it's the INTJ: The Outside Contractor! Great at saying no to parties, tv and sex!

Ok, does that mean I'm the ultimate Psycho among us trio? It'd be my pleasure!

People, the first post in this thread provides a link to the MBTI test. It may not be 100% of accuracy but you could've know yourself better! So, try it!

I've evolved into the ENFP but I may still linger around ESFP!

I thought I change a lot, but, I'm still INFP.

The Career Indicator is quite accurate. All the careers it list are those I like.

Can't believe there are still companies that use this outdated crappy test. Seriously, the test doesn't even reflect what Carl Jung's theories truly were. Not to mention the test give you answers so general and vague that any "personality type" you get is probably true. Plus the test actually doesn't have good validity in real world settings. Anyway, being the social/personality psychologist, it's just irritating seeing this test still being used.

It's a fun test to take when one is bored. I feel the results can serve as a brief guideline about someone.

^^ OH! Maybe you guys are the same type! HAHAHAHAHA okay, just kidding.

I'm a tested INFJ myself. I have not read any of the other types :T...to see if I fit into their category too or not. haha

I hope no one would take the test too seriously, though we can't really stop anyone who wish to emboss the 4 letters onto their forehead.... well, kidding.

I think this test would lead to interesting "personality discussion" topic which is discussion beyond the test itself. As far as the test is concern, simply join in the fun and do it - no harm done, just for fun!

Actually, I thought MW was pretty cool. He took the trouble to list out every single damn thing to the latter poster's personality type in the earlier posts. You know what I mean.

I mean overall. Psychology is among the most misunderstood fields. Almost all public perception of the science is incorrect. That Wen Er and I get asked about Psycho analysis, hypnosis, Freud etc. as soon as we say we study Psychology. Then people misinterpret personality tests, IQ tests, psychological disorders like the famed Schizophrenia and so on.

Well, at least they want to know what you know. When my baby cousin tells people that she is graduating with a psychology degree the aunts and uncles immediately asked her why she wants to help crazy people. :T Most fields, when studied in depth, are completely different from what the general public thinks it to be. But I do think psychology gets more flack than other fields though. Must be because of the public's overall fascination with themselves and good old fashioned deviancy.

I've been reading my INFJ typing and it's so accurate...even down to my hobbies and peoples misjudgment of my personality. Funny, there are people on YouTube who are posting vids of themselves so others of the same type can see if they all exhibit similar mannerisms in speaking and gesticulation and what not. Dang, some of those people...INFJs, let's just they are so awkward. I sort of felt sad seeing some of them.

    Agree with everything.

Again, because my primary area of research is personality psychology, this just really bothers me, especially because a lot of people see the MBTI as a "real" personality test as opposed to random ones you find on the Internet for fun and aren't meant to be serious (which is what it should be).

Haha, we sound so haughty, pompous and pretentous. Just like real psychologists.

Hey, I'm going through an extra five years of school for my degree, so I have every right to be haughty :P.
