How can killing Mu now a mistake? I mean kill the guy then sneak out. Who can imagine/proof that it is XSL? And he can bring the lady with him then hide her. Sneak her out of the Zhao. Wa la.

But of course, this is a novel and we need more story. I love it.

I am reading this and thinking of it like a pride of lions. A male lion leads a pack of female lions. This, you can say its great, why he has it so good.. etc. But there are some down side to this. If another male is to come and to take over the pride, the resident male can die and "must" fiercely defend. In a hour, day, week, month, or year later, this can happen again and again. At any given day, the resident male can die and loose everything. High risk for high rewards.

Now, a lioness can do the same. But all those lusty lecherous males will see this pack of females and will try to take over. This resident lioness will have to do the same to fiercely defend. The caveat to this is that the males who are coming can be twice the size. Once again, high risk for high rewards.

I guess what I am saying is that if "anyone" wants the rewards, they must take the risks. And our XSL has taken some risks, if I may say.

Actually, this come into my mind also as Zhao Qian and Lady Ya relationship as aunty and niece. How can they be not any embrassing situation with XSL and them both together? Or is it because the messy relationship in the palace already corrupted their mind until this does not seems to be any unusual relationship. I kinda think maybe they are not real blood brother-sister relationship with the King but rather some kind of cousin type of sister like Lady Ni.
