Ya, this stuff about reading into people's past seem so unbelievable. I remembered this female guest Cai HongJia who said that she was a Ching Dynasty Imperial concubine in her past life!

Though I don't really believe these stuff, I still enjoyed watching ZiRong in Lucky Strike. Somehow, I find her voice and manner of speaking very soothing and all her stories are rather interesting.

Btw, there is a short clip of 56's skiing trip in today's wangyu, 26 Jan 08 Saturday.

Quite funny, everyone fell except Mengzhe. This is the first time Xiezhi & Shaowei tried skiing. 56 really love to tease Mengzhe. Xiezhi said that Mengzhe's fondness for skiing is only second to sleeping. Renfu was amused that Mengzhe was so bad-tempered that day. Mengzhe was so eager to go skiing that he made sure everyone woke up early that day & they reached the Great Wall of China at about 9am. But the skating arena is only open at 10am and that made Mengzhe fuming mad.

    Here's the clip:

Funny, saw this notice that is posted today, 26 Jan 08 on the official Jstar website:

    敬告各位
    由於近日中國大雪甚鉅
    陸運受阻
    故專輯中國內地改版延至2/16(初十)
    改版內容亦作調整
    原本配合中國新年的歌曲取消
    改版內容如下:
    1 CD+ 1 DVD
    CD-曲目不變
    DVD-喝采北京/月兒光光/漫遊中國/青鳥

Transportation services in China are disrupted due to heavy snow. As such, delivery of the new China version of the Bravo album is delayed to 16 Feb 08 (10th day of Lunar New Year). Hence, the special Chinese New Year song has to be removed from the album. The contents of the new version as follows:
    1 CD + 1 DVD
CD - no change to the line-up of songs
    DVD - Bravo/Bright Moon/Roaming China/Green Bird

    ====

Huh, thought Jstar was adamant not to have new versions? But now they are giving me hope again that I may have a chance to collect their MVs afterall.

Here's a clip of the news report of 56's arrival in Hong Kong (glad I understand Cantonese): http://www.tudou.com/programs/view/TDnznRsRc38/

You don't see Shaowei because he arrived in HK a day earlier. According to the fans, there is a good turn-up at both the airport and the autograph session. Hope to see positive news in the HK press tomorrow. Afterall, this is their first visit to HK and it is fantastic that they have a good reception.

As usual, 56 played games and hug (bao bao) their fans at the autograph session. Xiezhi's fan is a 80+ year old woman ... the age range of his fans is really wide

You can see some pictures of them at the autograph session here: http://tieba.baidu.com/f?kz=315915799

Thanks for the news and clips! Xiezhi looks really good at the airport. XD XD XD

Xiezhi's fall in the skiing trip looks the most painful. . .he landed so hard. >_< Poor guy.

Ya, Xiezhi took a hard fall and when he started grumbling at Mengzhe, that chap simply ignored him. No wonder they say that Mengzhe is crazy over skiing.

Another news clip of them in HK: http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=zTRM26S7zZk. This clip looks stunted but better than nothing.

Actually I am at work now and couldn't watch the clips yet. Hope their quality is ok.

Also some pictures from today's news reports, you can see the old lady with Xiezhi. According to the reporters, she is 76 years old and she gave all of them an angpow.

Yay! Over 1000 fans turned up for the autograph session and 50 fans even started lining up at 10pm the night before the session. Jia you 5566! I found a Ming Pao article about it:

Quality of this news clip is much better: http://www.56.com/u21/v_MjgxMzI4MTg.html. Or if you prefer youtube, then here's the same news clip but not stunted: http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=7bLbGzmzbso.

And a news clip from sina: http://video.sina.com.cn/ent/y/2008-...10479692.shtml

Lots of positive news from the HK press, and lots of pictures too:

I am really glad that 56 had such a fantastic reception in HK. For a place where Cantonese is the main language, it is great that so many people know 56 and went to meet them.

I agree with you totally, exadel. I speak Cantonese more fluently than Mandarin so I am really glad people in Hong Kong gave them such a warm reception.

It just irks me when my friends say 'Who are 5566?" or better yet- "All Taiwanese boybands are the same".

I hope they broadcast Xiezhi's Mo Jian in Hong Kong- I'm sure he'll get an even bigger fanbase.

Yeah, it's definately very awesome that they had such good receptions. . .even with the news. I was kinda surprise. . .but I guess it is there first time in HK. The reporters don't have much to say yet. ^^ The pictures look really good! All taken at very pleasant angles. XD Thanks for posting the links!

Thanks for all the pictures, exadel. Xiezhi looks so shuai in black! Very cool. I read that he is even more handsome in person- I can see why.

I read (with help of Google translate) that TVB Scoop did their interview with them in a restaurant and they were chased all the way there by fans. Here is the link:

Yeah, lots of fans said that Xiezhi looks more handsome in person but just as small-built. At the Taiwan "hugging" session, the fans were trying to circle their arms round his waist so as to measure how tiny is his waist

Another set of pictures taken by a fan during the HK autograph session. http://tieba.baidu.com/f?z=316290093...%DC%CE%B0&pn=0

Have you watched this China show 週日狂熱夜? http://www.tudou.com/programs/view/KxfURro48gI/

Since Xiezhi has a girlfriend, he is usually the only one to be asked for his views on marriage. But this is the first time that the other 2 guys were also asked this question. So funny that Shaowei said that he wants a child but not a wife.

56 was on 2 HK radio interviews yesterday. I managed to hear one of the interviews. Can you imagine that an idol boyband was discussing ants during the intervew? So funny, and whilst they were talking about ants, Shaowei was busy admiring a sketch of himself.

Here's the clip of the 2nd radio interview, where they attempted to speak in Cantonese.
    http://www.tudou.com/programs/view/J3uN_1LV6M0/

Xiezhi's Cantonese pronunciation is the best. He seems to be quite good in languages except English. I think he did not attend formal Japanese Language classes but simply pick up the language from watching Japanese TV programmes.

Can't find the other radio interview where they spoke about ants on youtube or tudou. But you can listen to or download the clip here: http://www.fs2you.com/en/files/feec4...-0014221f3995/.

The radio interview was so funny! They were so into talking about ants! Thanks, exadel.

I think Xiezhi's Cantonese pronounciation is the best. He has a gift for languages- even though his knowledge of English words is limited, his pronounciation is pretty good.

I've just finished watching the 週日狂熱夜 clip. I really like the Hasayaki song. I don't think it was ever on any of their albums? Is that right?

Don't have all their albums so not sure if they have the Hasayaki song. But in the show, they did mention that this is not their song. So, it should be a song that they sang with Zhou Chuan Xiong and recorded in his album.

56 is on TVB Scoop today and here's the clip: http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=lxM3J_j6nm4. Disappointed that the item is so short.

And 56 on Phoenix news: http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=YKTzo8qJaIE with their funny Cantonese.

Yeah the clip on TVB's Scoop is short, but Xiezhi does look hot! I still can't believe he took off his jacket and only wore a undershirt while he was cooking. He is usually pretty conservatively dressed.

haha. . .you're talking about the guy that wore a bikini on stage in front of thousands of fangirls. No, I think xiezhi is most brave dresser in 56. . .though he looks kinda old fashion at formal events.
