(Didn't want to be in disguise forever). Either name is ok- I actually registered here a couple of years before registering at asianfanatics.

Anyhow, I'm glad to read that Bravo is back on the Taiwanese album sales charts at #12 http://www.5music.com.tw/CDTop.asp. Does anyone know how their album is doing in Hong Kong?

Their flight was delayed yesterday so 2 of their yesterday's programmes were cancelled. But their live radio interview (Yes93.3FM) later on today should go on as scheduled. Thieir interview is at about 2.10pm Singapore time today (Sunday 3 Feb 08). You can listen to it here:

Oh that's good news- looking forward to seeing that episode of Lucky Strike. Hopefully ETTV America will show it soon. I still want to catch the TVB Scoop episode with them when it broadcasts here next week even though I saw it on Youtube since the clip is not too clear.

Wow, you really get delayed telecast. I get to watch that episode of Scoop on my TVB channel on 1 Feb 08.

Your ETTV telecasts of Lucky Strike should be a few months' late if the host is still Di Ying. Lucky Strike started on 1 Jan 07 and I think Xiezhi hosted the show for about 6 months, then Di Ying for about 2-3 months before they changed to Miao KeLi, and it is now Feb 08!

They were asked to say something about each other that no one knows about. Shaowei said that Xiezhi likes to keep to himself in his room. Xiezhi said Renfu is such a family man that career is of low importance in comparison. Renfu said that Mengzhe is actually very observant and aspires to be a designer. Mengzhe said that Shaowei has finally learnt how to cook instant noodles.

Yeah, exadel, it's pretty pathetic here with the delayed telecasts of shows. Luckily, one of the pay channels that I get will be broadcasting the Chinese New Year special with 5566 as hosts this Friday, though at 1:30am Toronto time. I'm so excited that I can actually watch them on tv! Also, ETTV will be showing special CNY episodes of Lucky Strike so hopefully they will have 5566 on (prays).

I think those hidden secrets of 56 are interesting- Xiezhi's did not surprise me, but Renfu's and Mengzhe's did. Never would have guessed that Mengzhe aspires to be a designer and that Renfu is a family man.

Bonnie1, which show are they hosting for Chinese New Year? In Taiwan, there will be 3 shows with 56 as guests to be telecast on eve of Chinese New Year. Not sure about programmes for the new year, but haven't heard of them being hosts of any show for this year.

Just a warning first - they spoke about spooky encounters and screened the 5 best horror clips at the first half of the show. Xiezhi was so excited about the horror clips whilst his poor 56 mates tried to wriggle out of it. Surprisingly, Renfu & Mengzhe seem more frightened compared to Shaowei.

The 2nd portion talks about their past lives and how it relates to their present life.

Bonniec1, there still isn't any news about 56 hosting any new year shows. In fact, today's news mentioned that 56 are getting a break during this Lunar New Year. I have a feeling that your Friday's show could be the 2007 Countdown Concert which 56 hosted with Phoebe Huang JiaQian.

I'm so excited- I just realized that the tv channel here is going to broadcast 鑽石耀新春群星鼠來寶 and 團圓鼠來寶 CNY shows tomorrow and Friday both of which have 5566 guest starring! What is the name of the third special they will be appearing on? Is it the one with Chang Fei?

Yes, the 3rd programme is the China show with Chang Fei. My local TV station is also showing both 鑽石耀新春群星鼠來寶 and 團圓鼠來寶 but they love to edit shows so I am sure lots of parts will be cut off. Hope they don't snip off any 56 appearances.

Thanks for the clips! I just finished watching the CNY special hosted by Li Ching. Luckily the tv station broadcasted all 6 hours of it. Xiezhi looked like he was having fun. Plus he was so nice- he kept on adding money points to the people who were competing.

I saw the part in the other special too, where he was trying to give back the hong paos to the hosts. So thoughtful and sweet! (sighs)

You are so lucky. My local TV station only broadcasted 3 hours of the 6-hour show so lots of parts are edited out. I really salute the inventors of internet, bitcom, emule, youtube and tudou. Without them, I would have missed so many 56 shows.

Xiezhi was so cute on the "diamond" show. I like how he kept singing at the end of that segment until Li Ching has to ask him to stop. As for the "hair" segment, he made sure the audience knows how much his sifu has to suffer just to perform the stunt, and he looked so adorable when hinting that he lost his hair due to learning this stunt.

Ya, Xiezhi is such a nice, selfless and thoughtful person. Actually, quite a number of the Big Brothers/Sisters in showbiz also liked him alot or think well of him. Those that I can think of are Jacky Wu 吴忠宪, Bao WeiMing 包伟铭, Tao Zi 陶晶莹, Hu Gua 胡瓜, Zheng Guo Cheng 曾国城 and even Lu WenWan 文婉 the ex-gossip reporter.

Apart from the recent gossips, there are hardly any news about 56 these days as they are given a long LNY break. Seems that the only thing to look forward to now is their new version of the China Bravo album to be released on 16 Feb 08. Hope they sell this on YesAsia because I want to get hold of their MVs.

I agree with you, exadel. I am really, really thankful for Youtube, etc., because without them, I would miss the majority of 5566 shows, news, you name it.

I'm surprised they don't air more of 56's shows in Singapore and that they cut the show to only 3 hours. Oh well- anyways, the more I see Xiezhi interact with people, the more I like him. He has such a nice, thoughtful and sincere personality. Plus I like the fact that he is very serious about his performances and is a perfectionist. And the fact that he is very childlike and funny at times is also endearing. Gee- I am just going on and on (fangirl moment).
