There's this senor reporter that oftens goes to the programme, I think he's really friendly with renfu. the only other programmes he appears in is in da jian die, but not as often as in WQYL. I enjoy the hollywood gossip that he provides.

Ya, agree with you 100%. XZ and RF make a formidable combination which is why I really miss Cao Ji Xing Xing Xing. Even they themselves had said that because of their different personalities and interests, they can cover each other's weaknesses when hosting together. I feel that Xing Xing Xing is just like ZQMTX in that the ratings is not that bad (I think about 2+ to 3) but the producers expect more from them.

Oh yes, the Sunday WQYL has become more fun and gossipy. Btw, Mengzhe has been hosting the show with Renfu for the past weeks. Wonder what happen to JR or have they decided to replace JR with MZ.

Hotasuki this is my own oppinion. I thik LYC way of acting is like fake because in her drammas, she speaks like acting cute totally not the same way as she speaks in her real life interviews.

O hotasuki. I remember Qiaoen said in one of her interview in WQYL that she said that she would like to try acting in a movie.

Ya i prefer the sunday WQYL than before. At least now is more fun and laughter and also can know more news that i never heard before by the guesses.

I agree with you guys too- I really like the Xiezhi and Renfu pairing as hosts and miss seeing Xiezhi host. He is really quite funny even though he is 'proper' most of the time. Let's hope that he will have some opportunities to host now that ZQMTX is almost finished filming.

But what I really would like is for them to put out a new album! Anyways, it was too bad that they didn't attend the Golden Bell Awards this year, but it would have been odd with 3 members only.

Ha! Just finished watching ep83. I was right. The AnAn vs Shaofang situation is completely entertaining. I couldn't help laughing out loud. I hope they have more of that type of scenes. MJ doesn't even need to be there.

I think it would be interesting if they have MJ take AnAn in, out of pity, after she realize that she's an illegitamate child, blurring the love story btw MJ and SF. So hopefully, MJ won't accept SF anytime soon.

Haha, I like An An because I find her quite amusing ..very spoilt girl but very open and honest about her feelings for Mingjie. I was laughing at that part when she grumbled that she was so busy fending off her love rivals and then got herself drunk and tried to seduce Mingjie.

A fan from tongxin fanclub went to watch the filming of the campfire scene and just to share some tidbits of what she wrote.

At first they couldn't find Xiezhi then later saw him seated on the Director's chair eating his dinner with the crew. After the meal, he and his assistant fed the stray cats with the leftovers. His fan asked Xiezhi why didn't he take care of his hair, especially during his 2 months' break. Xiezhi said "too busy .." and when they tried to recommend him a new hair-care product, he smiled happily and said he is now using something which is quite good (well, let's wait & see if his hair condition improves. I actually thought his hair in episode 93 looks )

Xiezhi is either talking on the phone or sending SMS when not filming. They said that Lian JinWeng (XiaoFang) is very cheerful and gets along well with Xiezhi and she also calls him Xiezhi Ge. Later, about 5 to 6 crew members helped Xiezhi put on his tribal costume. (Wow, Xiezhi is really a A-lister .. why does he need so many people to help him put on a vest, a simple hair-piece, choker and a string round his upper arm )

The filming was expected to last until the wee hours of the morning. His fans couldn't stay so late so they left after about 4 hours (which means that filming lasted longer than that) yet that campfire scene lasted for only about 5 mins when it was shown. Oh well, acting is a really tough job.

If anyone is still interested, here is last week's ratings. Surprised that the rating went up a little from 3.22 to 3.28, thought it will drop further because the story of NanGe & XiaoQiao is just dragging along and going nowhere whereas Mingjie has so little screen time.

Anyways, it's a good sign the ratings for ZQMTX went up. Even though it will end in a couple of months, I hope the ratings will continue to improve so that at least the average rating will be ok.

On 2 Nov 08, settv featured Xiezhi on this program 台湾亮起来. Haha, even before I had the chance to watch this show, somehow I can already imagine him wearing his favourite grey jacket.

Yes, I am sure he loves animals. There was a clip from WQYL where they "bullied" a fat cat and I also recalled Shaowei saying Xiezhi has a way with animals either in one of those old shows they hosted or in one of the old SNTGD episodes. Btw according to his mom, all their pet dogs had died. DIO, his pet huskie died in Mar this year at 14 years old, and the last huskie died in August.

Thanks again, exadel. That is pretty sad about all his dogs being gone this year.

I know it can be so depressing if your pet dies since they are like one of your family- or at least I think so.

Anyways, I remember the picture of Xiezhi and Dio was in his book Zhi Qi and that she (?) was his favorite dog. But 14 yrs is quite old for huskies. I think usually larger dogs live to about 10 or so.

Thanks for the clips- I'm going to check it out now. I don't think I've ever come across that WQYL clip with the cat- it does sound funny.

Oh, so the life span of a huskie is about 10 years. In that case, his huskies had lived to a ripe old age because Dio died at 14 years old and the last huskie died at age 13.

I think it is good that SETTV did that program on Xiezhi- afterall, through his hard work and achievements, he is really a good example for young people. Plus it shows that SETTV still wants to promote him- and they should- there are not a lot of artists around with as much talent in as many different fields like Xiezhi.

Agree that it is good of settv to do that program on Xiezhi because it looks more like a documentary rather than an entertainment talk show. So, most likely only artistes with some sort of achievements get to be featured in that program.

There will be a press conference for the baseball charity match in Taichung on coming Wed 12 Nov 08. Xiezhi, Mengzhe and YuRong and 3 members of the opposing team will be there. Somehow I notice that Shaowei is seldom involved in such baseball publicity activities. Emmm, makes me suspect that though Shaowei likes sports, he is not as crazy over baseball as the other guys but probably join the Jstar team just to support Xiezhi.

Haha, there is a scene of Mingjie practising baseball in episode 98 of ZQMTX. I wonder if Xiezhi pestered the scriptwriters to put that in or if the writers knew he is crazy over baseball and decide to pamper him. He must be very happy filming that scene.

Btw, despite Mingjie being reduced to an insignificant wallflower now, I still think the team likes Xiezhi/Mingjie a lot. Although I hate seeing Mingjie still pinning over Dehui but at least this makes his character more real and consistent. A lot of viewers dislike ShiChang and Dehui because they appear so heartless to have completely forgotten their dead wife/ex-boyfriend so fast. At least the writers did not destroy the character of Mingjie.
