緯來綜合台 the station that shows baseball quite a lot I think. basically showing weekends at 4 pm from march. If they can sell this programme, no wonder taishi is still on good terms with 5566, still making money off them.

緯來 TV station seems to have a good relationship with 5566. This station showed the live telecast of all of XZ's baseball charity matches. 1 or 2 years back they invited XZ to be a guest commentator for a baseball match & XZ received good reviews from the sports fan. 緯來 station also showed the repeat telecast of Mojian and I sort of remembered that SW's TV movie was a collaboration with this station.

Anyway, XZ is again invited to be a guest commentator in this weekend's competitive baseball match which is shown over 緯來 sports channel. Not sure if there are 2 matches, Sat and Sun or is today's match a repeat telecast. Whatever it is, he is doing something he really enjoys over this weekend. According to fans at baidu, the baseball fans at TW ptt forum praised his commentary. I can't get into ptt now, will probably read their comments tomorrow.

Frankly, I was hoping that 緯來 TV station can engage XZ to be their permanent sports commentator. Afterall, sports fans seems to like him because of his professional baseball knowledge and of course he is an entertaining host.

Btw RF is also appearing in 2 episodes of Mao xian qi bing in april. The only outdoor game show I know still that is existing in taiwan. host are zeng guo chen & qiaoen. sigh. if only he'll appear with XZ. I want to see the both of them together. ... Shall wait for the china programme.

Ya, read about RF co-hosting Mao Xian Qi Bing. Since I don't watch this game show, so not sure what happened to the hosts or is RF only taking QiaoEn's place for the time being since she will be acting in a settv idol drama soon. Or is RF being engaged to be one of the permanent hosts?

Btw, read in baidu forum that RF's china program Yong Wan Zhi Qian may be canned soon. Not sure if the rumours are true especially since RF was said to have signed a one-year hosting contract for this show. Well, will have to see if there are further developments.

XZ is still considered young. But it's a route that he could choose to take, after all, you don't really need to be an idol to comment on sports + can work till retirement. So if all luck runs out for him, he' knows he's got a backup job & a stable one too.

It's good that Xiezhi can always consider becoming a sports commentator as a backup plan when he is older, but I really, really hope that he will stay in the entertainment industry for a while!

I do agree that he can be an excellent commentator since he speaks so clearly and is entertaining.

I was thinking that XZ can have a stable job as a sports commentator and still be in showbiz at the same time. Afterall, 56 members are good at multi-tasking. Btw, I still can't get into TW ptt forum (wonder what's wrong) but some kind fans at baidu had copied more of the good comments about his baseball commentary here: http://tieba.baidu.com/f?kz=557953861. Basically they think he gives fair, light-hearted yet professional comments, and he is better than some of the resident sports commentators.

I think his good work & involvements in baseball helps elevate 5566 reputation. Taiwan is a baseball-crazy country and as can be seen from the comments in ptt forum, netizens there favour stars who support baseball.

When 5566 first started, netizens at ptt is well-known to bash 56 for everything perhaps because 56 started at a wrong footing. Sometimes, netizens criticise 56 for no reason but just for the sake/fun of criticising them. But recently, XZ has in some part helped change their opinion of 56. In fact, they seem to think that XZ is the only "good and normal" guy in 56.

Of course XZ's good showing at baseball won't convert these people to be fans of 56. But the ptt community will at least be less harsh to 56 and perhaps even watch or support some of their programmes. Hopefully they will then realise that 56 does has substance and will be kinder to them.

Well, XZ had arrived at Beijing yesterday 31 Mar 09, earlier than expected. Haha, the China fans are really good detectives, they managed to catch him at the airport even though Jstar did not make any official announcement about this. The recording for that magic show will only be on 3 Apr. Wonder why did XZ go to China so early? Let's hope it is to discuss some new projects for himself.

Btw, his episode of 百萬小學堂 will be shown on TTV channel this Friday, 3 Apr and repeat telecast on Much TV channel on 10 Apr.

So this is the reason for XZ to be in China earlier than RF. China's Anhui TV station was promoting the new magic show yesterday and XZ did a catwalk. The press is quite kind because in this picture, XZ does not look too dwarfed by the 2 leggy models

Yeah, since the production team (which is also the SNTGD team) knows XZ so well, hope they give him more taiyu and sentimental songs so he can get past more rounds. Richie Ren is also on this episode ... I like Richie, had a good impression of him when he was in Singapore years back for one of our charity shows. Appears to be a sincere and likeable person.

Like that picture of Xiezhi with the models- He is looking pretty good! Very shuai. Looks like he is growing his hair a bit longer. Can't wait for that magic show to broadcast.

Really looking forward to that episode of BWDGX with Xiezhi and Richie Ren as well since I like both of them. Anyways, I remember reading that Richie Ren's Chinese zodiac is also a Horse, but he is 12 years older than Xiezhi.

Btw, China fans who went to the live recording of the magic show said he did very well in the magic competition. SZ was one of the judges and during the first round of competition, one of the judges said XZ's only flaw is he is too shuai XZ and RF each sang a song solo. Oh, this show should be telecast soon probably next week or the week after.

I love those pictures with XZ and RF together. They look like great buddies who missed each other's company so they could not stop chatting to each other on stage. As you can see from the pictures, XZ won top prize for that day's magic competition. Wonder if he will be invited back to compete with the other winners.

Btw, XZ sang 白色花漾 and RF sang 世界最美的风景. Because XZ had food poisoning earlier and he threw up, felt giddy so landed up in hospital. SZ said because of that, XZ did not sing that well that night. But the fans said he sang well though he could not reach the high notes but he improvised.
