Yeah- Renfu and Xiezhi look so happy together. Really would like to see them host together again! Anyways, glad that Xiezhi won his round for the magic show. I am sure they will have him back for the finals. But poor guy-wonder how he got food poisoning? Guess he was the only one who did?

XZ was on the 消费占占乐 show yesterday. This show was telecast on ETTV channel and the participants have to guess the price of the products showcased. They get to keep the product if their guess is correct or closest to the correct price. I think XZ got a handphone in the end.

No clips available yet but just to share the pictures which are taken from the blog of one of the girls in the photos. Btw, they are not celebrities though they are dressed so daringly.









Haha, he wore a different jacket this time but that T-shrit is definitely the same one he wore to the BWDGX show. Oh dear, now I seem to be more interested in what he wears than how he performs on shows

Yay-he is wearing a different jacket! (just kidding). He is looking good! Anyways, I have the ETTV channel here ($10 a month!) so I will actually get the rare opportunity to watch Xiezhi on television though the show is about 2 weeks behind. They just showed the March 23/09 episode yesterday. I like Yang Fan and Tsao Lan as hosts though- they are quite funny. If it wasn't for them, the show would be boring.

You are lucky to be able to see this show on TV. Over here, the ETTV channel was removed from our cable TV due to poor viewership. But thankfully, I managed to watch the show on tudou whilst waiting for my download to be completed.

Haha, I like the part when he had to guess the price of those products because he & Yang Fan look like 2 fighters and both were so exhausted after each round. Is it the same with the other celebrity guests?

Btw, here is the newspaper pix of him in yesterday's BWDGX. At least he wears something different ... but may not be new because this casual piece looks familiar too. Oh, he made it through 8 rounds & just missed out on the grand prize again. Hope they keep inviting him back to the show till he gets the grand prize. Afterall, he has no other projects on at the moment.

Ooh thanks for all the pics, exadel. Yeah 消费占占乐 can be pretty funny when you have an entertaining celebrity guest. They always invite celebrities- most of the time b-class, but sometimes a-class as well. The episodes with Bao Wei Ming, Wu Gua and his daughter and Mayi etc. were pretty entertaining.

Anyways, I like the picture of Xiezhi with Harlem and Richie Ren- very cute! And he is wearing something different! Maybe he has been reading our comments about his favorite grey jacket. Just kidding. I was hoping that he would get the big prize though. He still performed very well. Wonder how Richie did?

Richie Ren is the special guest giving out the questions, you know the one who sings the song and the contestant who sang correctly will then move on to the actual competition. But after the last contestant whom I think is XZ finished his rounds, Harlem also made Richie try out the game but not sure how Richie did.

Haha, I noticed that XZ appears in all 3 photos, even though both Richie and Harlem are more senior than him. In this article, XZ said that he is now hooked on to magic after participating for that Magic Show in China. As he had won the preliminary round, he had found an expert to train him so that he can also succeed in the next round of competition. Good, this confirms that XZ will be appearing again in that magic show.

And credits to a fan at baidu forum who found these BWDGX clips of XZ. The blog owner is actually a fan of one of the male guests and thanks to her, we can get to see a sneak preview of the show, which should be telecast in TW on 18 Apr.

Looks like another fun episode and I am sure XZ is again the one who livens up the show. But according to a fan who watched the live recording, XZ seems to have a slight flu so his voice is not in tip-top condition.

oh ho ho ho yesterday's kangxi was brilliant. DXQ was a guest & they kept harassing her over XZ & ZYT. My impression of DXQ has improved slightly since she didn't use the programme to slag off XZ. I still think she's not completely over him yet.

On the SET Forum, some fans were commenting that since he broke up with DXQ, (they still consider him single here), they've noticed that the ladies have been all over him. Someone at the BWDGX recording reported the female artistes having more intimate gestures with XZ. But personally, I think its just because he has a big brotherly deposition, that makes the ladies comfortable around him.

XZ has been guest in several programmes recently, I wonder why. Are they trying increase exposure in preparation for their new album?

SW's appearance in programmes is mostly for his shop. Apparently it's doing quite well. The shop master at his main shop is quite cool looking too. SW should try opening a francise that has good looking bakers as an attraction (as an additional plus point to good food of course)

Well, I am glad that Xiezhi is appearing in more programs, since we can see more of him. If this year is their contract renewal year, I am sure that they will release an album before the end of the year. Maybe near or after summer. Hope that they will sign for a couple more years though.

One possibility for XZ's recent guest appearances could be getting a feel of the different program formats - isn't one of his job roles as SZ future successor negotiating and assigning engagements for Jungiery's artistes ?

To me, I don't think he will become like those tong gao yi ren (通告艺人) who appear on almost every show and who can talk about any topic under the sun. XZ will probably be more selective on the type of shows he appears on or maybe he also consider who is the producer or host of the show.

I am not very optimistic about them releasing 5A this year unless they can rush out something in the next few months. When fans ask XZ about 5A, he said they have not even gotten any songs yet. RF's answer was more classic. He said that they are unable to give birth to 5A yet (5A 还生不出) because there are 4 fathers but no mothers!

Oh, fans also ask XZ if he is going to film a show in China (based on the newspaper report) but XZ said no, he hadn't heard anything about filming projects.

The Apr 18th episode of BWDGX was really funny. Xiezhi really livened up the whole show. I'm glad that TTV didn't really edit his part.

Yes, his rap in BGDGX was so unexpected and hilarious. As usual with his experience, XZ managed to liven up the show. XZ is only 31 years old but is already a veteran with his 14 years in showbiz. So he is able to interact naturally with Harlem and at times even taking over control of the show. On the other hand, the newbies will just follow the lead from questions thrown to them by the host.

TTV is so nice to XZ because they kept almost all his songs intact as compared to the editing done to the 1st girl and even Richie's parts. Since XZ had not gotten the big prize, hope TTV will invite him back to BWDGX again.

I too hope that Jungiery has some secret plans for 5566 though I think it is easier to get solo projects for the 4 guys rather than for 5566 as a band. With piracy and internet downloads, the music industry is not very promising so record companies are very cautious about releasing albums. I am sure SZ also wants to protect their reputation meaning that he will not release new albums if he is not confident about the sales figures.
