Thanks for the link. I'm pretty sure the clip of Xiezhi is from 2008 when he gave a speech at an university. His hair is the really short cut he had when he was promoting the Bravo album.

Btw, I think most polls by the TV stations are for fun so I don't think that the result will have any impact on whether 5566 will come out with a new album. Nevertheless, I hope Warner will pay attention to it and have some concrete plans for them.

Agree that both Xiezhi and Renfu are great singers. Xiezhi's performances at BWDGX managed to change some people's negative opinion of 5566. Of course, the emergence of newer and weaker boybands also made people realise that 5566 does have substance. Wonder if Renfu will go on BWDGX to show that he can really sing.

Well, time flies and just realised that this year is coming to an end soon. Wonder if 5566 is slated for any shows to usher in the new year ... both Countdown and Lunar New year.

Yes, today's news confirmed that xiezhi is acting in 魔女18号. Well, I did not watch this show at all but it sounds like ZQMTX in that new characters are introduced now so I can probably treat it like a new show and not bother about the earlier episodes. Wonder how many episodes will he act in? Read from baidu that this show is expected to last about 80 episodes, or would they decide only after checking the ratings? But weekly ratings for 魔女18号 usually hovers around 1 plus.

Btw, there is also news today that RF and JQ are hosting a new game show together to be aired in September. So, looks like Xiezhi is focusing on acting, RF hosting and SW will probably spend more time on his bread shop. Luckily MZ comes from a wealthy family so he doesn't need to worry too much about his showbiz career.

Yeah- I really miss 5566 hosting together. SNTGD was such a great show. Actually all of their game shows were good. I feel like I missed out on a lot since I only found out/starting watching Xiezhi and 5566 in 2007, but at least the episodes are pretty complete on Tudou and Baidu. I was so glad to be able to order the fudai that Jungiery was selling last year because it is so hard to get 5566 collector's items in Toronto, even on ebay.

Anyways, I'm really looking forward to Xiezhi's appearance in 魔女18号 starting next week. He is so cool + cute in his chef outfit! I haven't watched the show, but I guess 1+ is an average rating?

Though I still do not like her very much based on impressions from news reports about her, but I am still happy for him as long as he is happy. Afterall, we really do not know these people at all but can only guess their characters from what we see & read which may not be accurate.

Actually, I am more interested in the show that he and Renfu are on, hope it will be telecast soon. Actually, I would expect Xiezhi to go on a show with Shaowei instead since they have "something in common" as they are in the same drama 魔女18号. But guess Xiezhi & Renfu are invited to this show since both are good friends with the host, Zheng GuoCheng.

Xiezhi had mentioned on his blog that his episodes of 魔女18号 will be shown from around 10 Sep (next week). Btw, ZQMTX had ended and the new settv 8pm show started yesterday. I am glad ZQMTX has ended so that Xiezhi will not be competing for ratings against a show that he had acted in.

Oh yes, Xiezhi looks so charming in his chef uniform. Btw, Yurong seems to have a bit part in 魔女18号 as well.

Actually, i also didn't watch all the eps of SNTGD. I only start to watch SNTGD in 2007 when my house have the starhub cable. The earlier eps i only watch abit here and thee as the Singapore TV station cuts alot and they didn't show most of the eps.

ZGC then asked "so you do not have a girlfriend now?" XZ was quiet for about 7 seconds and finally said "I do have a very good friend all along." So indirectly admitting to his relationship with ZYT.

XZ and RF went on this show 「一袋女皇」and both have some links with ZGC. RF hosted「冒險奇兵」with ZGC whereas XZ knew him from the time he was in the singing competition. XZ often seek advice from ZGC on how to tell jokes and so they had a good relationship.

Surprise, surprise! Xiezhi did reply to his fan's messages on the UFOTown. Haha, he must have just learnt how to use the reply function and spent a day replying to the messages.

The one reply that got me excited is ... he confirmed that he will be filming a show in China but the date of filming is yet to be fixed. He is looking forward to this as he liked the script very much.

Plus DXQ last appearance on GGBBM, she may not have said much, but there were some indications that can be interpreted that the XZ/ZYT link was pretty much a TV stunt. Hence, I'm also skeptical about the recent rumor about QiaoEn

Anyway, don't be too bothered about the manager's reply. Taiwanese media are well known to write what they want to by breaking up what the person says and piecing them together. also only presenting only one side of a story about what 1 person say while interviewing another so that they can 'trap' them into saying things they want to hear.

I think it's because Taiwanese TV have very strict rules for sponsership. Not too sure about dramas but I have heard that the variety programmes are not allowed to be sponsered. Prizes can be sponsored but not the cost of making the programme. Plus they have almost 100 stations in Taiwan which makes advertisers don't see the point of sponsering them. Though from what I heard, they are sponsering the idol dramas.

Yeah- I was surprised that Xiezhi replied to the ufotown messages too. I guess he must read what is posted on websites because I think some fans in the Baidu forum were complaining that he doesn't reply to messages, unlike Shaowei who replied a few times. The ufotown site is for fans in China only I believe. Too bad- it would have been nice if we could leave messages on it for him. I'm glad that he confirmed that he will be filming in another series.

Oh pat/clare- I did (surprisingly) get a lot of Xiezhi stuff in my fudai from last year. What I got was: the T-shirt with the heart shaped collage of the J-stars, J-star mousepad, Xiezhi necklace, Xiezhi picture, Mojian flashcard, 5566 folders, 5566 cellphone accessory, 5566 key chain, 5566 sticky notepad, 7 Flowers mirror, Bravo passport (the one in the album), 5566 bookmarks. The cost of the postage was almost the same cost of the fudai, but it was worth it. It took a lot of emails to convince them to send it to Toronto!

I was annoyed by her manager's reply when I first read the news. Haha, but such things won't bother me for too long as I won't treat TW and HK entertainment news too seriously.

Yes, Xiezhi did not mention names so he could be referring to DXQ or ZYT or even someone else. Whoever that person is, I am just glad that he has a girlfriend. Xiezhi yearns for marriage so I am happy that he has someone to share his life with, which is better than reading about him nursing a broken heart at home.

I used to think that he and DXQ faked their breakup or were just going through a bad patch, since DXQ does not talk about Xiezhi or her love life at all on shows despite what the press had written about her. However, I changed my mind after XZ & ZYT were photographed together because I don't think Xiezhi will be close to another female friend if he is still attached.
