Thanks for posting the link, hotasuki! I only watched Xiezhi's part, but I thought it was quite well done and the actors were well suited to their roles. Plus I really like Xiezhi in ancient costume and hope that he can film more series.

I haven't watched the latest Superking episode yet but according to the fans at baidu, there isn't any duet by RF and XZ. Somehow, this show doesn't arouse my interest at all. Jacky Wu has all the spotlight and I feel that he doesn't want to share the limelight with his co-hosts, except Jiro whom they (either Jacky or the producers) are promoting as the shuai guy perhaps to attract the female fans. Sorry about my comments which may be wrong since I fastforward most of the parts and have never watched the show in full.

Frankly, I was hoping that XZ quits this show so that he can concentrate on acting or release a solo album. Also, he can then go on Harlem's BWDGX if he is no longer on Superking. You can tell that he really enjoys himself on BWDGX because he loves singing. I really miss him on BWDGX after watching him on Singapore's show Don't Forget the Lyrics.

Anyway, I am now more interested in his new taiyu show 天下父母心. At least he joined the cast only at the tail-end of the show so there is less criticism and pressure on his role.

You're right, exadel- there was no duet. Maybe in the next episode? Anyways, I agree with you in that I really miss Xiezhi on BWDGX as well and think that the show better showcases his talent. I usually skip through episodes of Super King as well, though I think the most recent episodes have been a bit better since they have the Xiao Xiao Bin section which has some games and is more entertaining. I usually find the second half, where they have guest singers, pretty boring. I am surprised that neither Xiezhi nor Renfu have been given the opportunity to sing solo yet.

About TXFMX, I am really liking his role! Another breakthrough!

Last night, i saw from WQYL that there will be another 8PM dramma after TXFMX. They had their clothes fitting session recently. Which means, TXFMX is ending soon??? I'm wondering how many eps will there be for TXFMX???

Thanks for the info, pat/clare. If SETTV is already having a costume fitting for the new series then it does sound like TXFMX may end soon. Anyways, Xiezhi's acting is really great but the story itself is mediocre and predictible.

Thanks for the links, pat/clare. Yes- the songs that Xiezhi and Renfu sang with Jeff Chang were nice. Perhaps Xiezhi was tired because his voice sounded a bit scratchier than usual at the beginning? It did sound better later though. I hope that Xiezhi and Renfu will be given more opportunities to sing in future episodes.

However, I still think the Super Live section of the show is usually the most boring part since they drag it on for too long (usually more than 1/2 hour). I think a maximum of 3 solos from the guest and then maybe 2 duets with the hosts would be a good balance.

About TXFMX, yeah- I am really feeling sorry for Xiezhi's character. Maybe he will reach a breaking point and turn against his uncle?

From the dramma TXFMX, i think sooner or later he will start to not obey what his uncle said. He does have a feeling for Lisa.
