I have a BS in CS (Bachelor of Science in Computer Science). Currently employed as a Software Engineer.
I would love to change the world, but they won't give me the source code.

Check with your university's career placement office. They usually have salary figures.

No, CE (Civil Engineering) is one of the lowest paid Engineering fields.

    B. Med Sci and MBBS.

Would like to do some post-graduate programme in the future, but planning to go through my training first.

I wonder how ppl here cope with studying while working full-time?

Just do whatever they can, I suppose.

Anyways, that was what I did when I was getting my undergrad degree. Work full-time, attend classes several times a week after work, think about dinner for the first half class and try to stay awake for the second half, sleep on the bus home ... and panic when it's time to hand in papers and assignments.

Man, I feel sorry for people who have an accounting degree. A lot of those jobs were outsourced to INDIA.

Hope you guys find something that'll hold you off for a while.

Civil Engineer is ok..you will do land development for residential or construction project.....starting out in TEXAS is about $42K...When you are a licensed registered civil engineer with 10 years of experience, average about $75K-80K..

If you can't handle electrica engineer, do mechanical engineer. Be a design engineer b/c it's much more fun...

Is that the starting salary for people who have graduated in May 2006 or is it inclusive of all graduates that reported their salary irrespective of when they graduated?

Well the English language is still profitable in some different areas outside the US; so you accounting people can help count all those $$$ rolling in.
