"NEW YORK - "A Shot at Love with Tila Tequila" is apparently over for Bobby Banhart.

The 25-year-old male film student selected last month by Tequila on her popular MTV reality dating show is no longer — or maybe never was — dating the 26-year-old bisexual Internet celebrity.

During MTV's live New Year's Eve programming, Tequila said that Banhart had broken up with her because of her hectic work schedule. "He couldn't handle it," she said. "He broke up with me."

However, Banhart said in a Dec. 30 message posted on MySpace that "she never called me after the last show and no one would give me her number."

The network announced Wednesday that a second season of "A Shot at Love" will air this spring and will once again feature Tequila looking for love, reality TV style, among a group of men and women.

"This time I wanna find love for real," Tequila said during "Tila Tequila's New Year's Eve Masquerade 2008."

Casting notices circulated online for a second season of "A Shot at Love" before the finale, the network's most-watched broadcast since November 2005."

How ur gonna find love in a reality show??!! c'mon it's all about the $$$. I saw an episode of it and thought it's the gayest show ever...no offense to Tila I'm Viet myself, but she looks sooo plastic...I rather watch Hogan Knows Best...

Just so you guys know, she might not even be bi. Season 2 almost didn't make it because Tila refused to break up with her boyfriend whom she has been dating for more than a year.

this is quite sad...so this is the american audience standard for a vietnamese babe? take away the make up and take a picture of her from a different angle and they'll see that she is a very poor representation of vietnamese beauty. why did it have to be this "skank"?

This chick makes me feel ashamed to be Viet. I'm sorry but she represents everything a decent girl doesn't want to be. She's what a high school drop out? If not then something very close. Her behavior is very disturbing as a teen and now this, there's no decency left in this woman that it's downright degrading. Her album is a good indication. Like that song where she keeps repeating "I'll f*ck you up" over and over until the end where whispers "I love you I love you... " Way to cater to the demographic of already emotionally confused teens.

Hey yufeihong, are you a parent? Because I was thinking if we as their children only live by what makes our parents happy then we would never get to do any of the things we want. Just asking because you sound real big on the parents issue.

Not a parent but I am getting older unfortunately and am starting to see why my parents didn't let me do this or that when I was younger.

I understand you can't live by what makes your parents happy but isn't that more in terms of career path, significant other, etc? Because that's when one is able to make their own decisions anyway, but given you're a young teen I think your parents ought to gear you towards the "right" path.

tila and i graduated from the same high school. she's not as bad as hollywood presented her but she's pretty much a ghetto thug in school. i remember her beating up this black girl twice her size in some alley outside of school. she won "best dressed" at our prom and for her 18 b-day her bf got her a boob job.

i say she worked her way up. she used to be a dinky car model and now she's a lot more than that
