I have just picked up on CLX (the summaries on wuxiapedia) and thought how the lot of you who have actually read the novel would rank the characters.

Here is my list for top 5...

Jin Yi
Yu Guan Yin
Reverend TaiFeng
Xue Yi Ren
Chu Liu Xiang

Taking everything into consideration, Su RongRong should come on top (for those who have read all CLX books should know this).

And there's actually someone better, a person who defeated CLX without a single fight. Her name is Zhang Jie Jie.

Martial arts specifically, we never see the true power for Zhang Jie Jie because she never gets to fight with CLX. However, on several ocassions, when she leaps, even CLX cannot chase her.

However we all know martial arts alone doesn't win fights in Gu Long's world. His world is more complex and realistic than that of Jin Yong's, which is more traditional wuxia style.
