Well, It's hard to say which series is the best , but definitely this is the hottest in 3 years , even hotter than the previous focus , LI JIAN, which starred by LI YOU BIN and SUN LI.
If you like LIANG JIAN,or such kind of military drama, you will probably like this series.
For the actors , a good TV play don't need any stars, instead ,it will create stars.
I think you will find in SHI BING TU JI

the script is so well-written it made the whole show so very believable.
