The songs are all in the Hokkien dialect that is the dominant dialect of the Singapore Chinese.

I'm glad that those who went to my Youtube to check out the clips of this very Singaporean-in-spirit musical movie liked the campiness of the movie and the fantastic Hokkien songs.
