My dear, kudos to you for seeing this movie with your girlfriend and I respect you even much more for admitting to see it.

I thought this movie was cute, but it's only worthy as a rental. Maybe, i would enjoy it much more in the private of my own home rather then in a theatre surrounded by little kids. The highlight is definitely Patrick Dempsey. He can be my prince charming anytime.

    Default Enchanted rulez!

I'm defeated... I think Patrick Dempsey did a good job in there. No "shadow" trace of McDreamy. I like him as the character too, realistic and sacastic. Totally funny! And this is definitely the best film of my year 2007. (I've yet to catch Golden Compass...but I doubt it'll be better than Enchanted.) I like James Marsden too. He's so funny!

Hey, I don't see much kids in the theatre today. Its almost filled up! Adult mostly.

I like this movie. Amy Adams and James Marsden were great as the cartoonish character. Patrick Dempsey was good as the down to earth Robert too. Overall it's a really entertaining movie.

But, I think they should develope Prince Edward and Nancy as a couple more. They just met and already run away together. One moment, Prince Edward was totally in love with Giselle, the next moment he married Nancy. I can see a bit of attraction from Nancy towards Prince Edward, but Prince Edward affection just came out of the blue, just because the shoe fits. I guess it adheres to fairytale law since Prince Edward came from fairytale land. But, I'm happy that they end up together. If there is a sequal, I hope they are in the story. I want to see more of them.

As for Robert and Giselle. I love the moment when he sings to her softly close to her ear. I've to say that's the most romantic part of the movie.

I wonder what will happen after the end of the movie. How the couples' life will be. Will Giselle have a change of heart after she knew more about Robert and the new world that she now live in? I mean, she has a change of heart from Edward to Robert in a few days. Will Giselle be able to hold of to her innocence and optimistic outlook after living in the challenging New York City for long? What will Prince Edward and Nancy married life be when she learn more and more of Prince Edward? Prince Edward is nice, but seems like a pretty empty guy. Will she be able to stand the constant singing for long? Or will Nancy change Prince Edward to a more multi-faceted person?

Btw, I think Prince Edward did change a bit by the end. He was finally able to understand Pip's charade. Throughout the movie, he can't understand Pip's charade because he kept thinking of how awesome he himself is. But, at the end, he understand Pip's charade. I guess the self-love has tone down a bit.

Btw, love Giselle and Prince Edward optimism in life. Do you guys notice, they think of everyone and everything as beautiful.

Haha well I like the real life thing. Although it is clearly impossible to sing a tune to "command" the cockcroaches and rats to do work for me. But hey, the musical thing is so influencing and the movie is simply funny and cute.

I loved this movie!!! Believe it or not, I went to watch it in the cinemas twice. To accompany different friends. I enjoyed it even more the second time. I liked a lot of other movies n 2007, including Stardust and Golden Compass and Lust Caution and Ratatouille and Warlords and etc, but this is probably topping my list of faves! I was pretty much throughout the movie. So hilarious! It was cheesy but yeah that's part of what makes it so funny. I can see how some people may not enjoy the movie as much, but I guess this suits my type of humour. Loved this so much I'm probably going to buy the DVD when it comes out. Okay, enough gushing.

Enchanted turned out, quite surprisingly, to be one of the most enjoyable films i have seen in cinemas. I love the subversion, the satire and the casual irony throughout the film which make it so funny to watch. The plot itself, climax and conclusion wasn't entirely satsifying IMO, but it's the other moments that make this film so classic. Music is great, Patrick Dempsey is fantastic, as is Amy Adams.

Me too. I'm waiting for the DVD. It seems the director has promised to include the duet of Prince Edward (James Marsden) and Nancy (Idina Menzel) that has been cut from the final product.

    I hope it's true.

I love this movie. So spontaneous! Oh yeah, I like Patrick Dempsey's role best. The realist! I think opposites do attract, and rather complement well.

Definitely a surprise pack film!! My excuse for watching this at the cinemas was girl bullying or to put it nicely guys being gentlemen and respecting the ladies wishes. So a bunch of guys and girls went in and all of us came out surprisingly satisfied. I have to say Amy Adams' performance was the stand out for me. It seemed the perfect role for her, you can't help but adore her innocent and overly optimistic princess. If only Susan Sarandon's evil queen was given more screen time it would being a heaps better film. She also a great actress.
