    Default Wulin war: { Guo Jing and Yang Guo's supporters } vs { Xiao Feng's backers }

Idea taken from ze ORGANIZATION topic.

Let's compare the strength of 2 young Greats' supporters with the DGSD Elite's supporters, at the end of ROCH and DGSD respectively.

NOTE: We are only counting the people ALIVE at the end of the novel.
NOTE 2: We are only considering the martial world. No military.

At end of ROCH, GJ and YG's friends include:

    -Beggar's Union
    -Quanzhen Sect
    -Huang Yaoshi
    -Yideng and his disciples
-Zhou Botong and his disciple Yelu Qi
-CONDOR HERO's friends, including the Shi Brothers, HUMAN CHEF, and LONG BEARD GHOST Fan Yiweng
    -Xiao Longnu
    -Guo Jing's family
    -and more

Meanwhile at end of DGSD, XF's supporters include:

-What's left of Xiaoyao Sect: Xuzhu, Lingjiu Palace, 72 islands and 36 caves, and Ding Chunqiu's organization
-What's left of Beggar's Union: Elder Wu + other low-level disciples
-Duan Yu and his aids from Dali
    -Shaolin
    -Jurchen tribe (mostly physical warriors)

I ask yee, which side would win?
NOTE: Xiao Feng and Guo Jing/Yang Guo themselves will NOT participate in the battle.

XF's side, unquestionably. We have at least two people with double or more the internal energy of Greats-level fighters (XZ and Duan Yu), a multitude of Xuan-level monks, warriors which would eventually conquer the Northern Song (Jurchen/Jin), and the largest sect which exists in Wulin (Xiao Yao and its subsidiaries). If we toss in Xiao Yuanshan and Murong Bo as Shaolin/XF supporters, it becomes absolutely lopsided.

I suppose you can add in the Condor (should be able to mow down those low level beggar goons real good) and Yinggu for the GJ/YG side. Oh, and the Mighty Wu Brothers!

As for the DGSD side, you can't count XYS and MRB since they have broken all ties with the secular world. XYS doesn't even seem to acknowledge XF as his son anymore. I am of the opinion that XZ disbanded the Xingsu goons after the Shaolin Meet.

Besides Shaolin and Beggar Sect, I think they mobilised some of the miscellaneous Wulin people as well? Have to re-read the last chapter.

Anyway, having Yideng and the Wu Brothers fight their ancestors is wierd!

I think all the DGSD guys have to do in order to win is for Duan Yu to close his eyes and decide to issue an edict forbidding the Duan Family to learn kung-fu and destroy the Yiyangzhi and for Xu Zhu to decide not to transmit the Dragon Palms back to Beggar Sect. Suddenly, Yelu Qi loses his DP and Yideng and disciples lose all strength!

Do Siu Fung, Gwok Jing, and Yeung Gor get to contribute as leaders and generals even though they don't get to do any fighting personally? They have some value as leaders.

XF's backers for me cos in terms of quality and quantity they should be superior to GJ/YG backers.

I can imagine YG 'watching' when Duan Yu bumps into XLN on the battlefield and goes all 'Fairy Sister' on her.

CC, if XYS truly had 'broken his ties' with XF, then why would the Shaolin monks have kept the secret of his sons danger from him?

In fact, if we count ALL of Xiao Feng's supporters, Sweeper Monk himself was a great admirer of Xiao Feng, both in terms of character, and in martial arts. Do we get to add him in???

I wonder if it would be really lopsided victory to XF's supporters since Huang Yaoshi and Huang Rong are in GJ/YG side, with their knowledges in setting formations and traps, plus Quanzhen sect formation.

Although on the other hand, it took the 3 remaining greats, HYS, ZBT and YD to subdue JLFW, wonder if the 3 of them is able to match XZ and DY.

And, can we include Jue Yuan as well, since he featured in the very last chapter of ROCH?

What about Zhang Jun Bao too? Then he'll call in the whole Wudang; and since Zhang Wu Ji is on close terms with ZJB and would definitely help ZJB's friend, the whole Ming Sect comes in too. :P

We are only considering people's conditions at the end of DGSD and ROCH.
So Zhang Junbao would still be just a teenage boy.

I did think of that questionable issue.

I think we better leave him out, so the equation doesn't tip too much!

Its ok, remember that he taps both sides. So it balances.

Just that after that, he has to contend with 4 Dragon Palms and 1 Heavy Sword to his ribs.

Ouch! Not to mention, XF might be pissed enough at Sweeps tapping people yet again to do his massive-triple KLYH, making it effectively 8 Dragon Palms and 1 Heavy Sword!

BTW PJ, didn't Fan Yiweng die at the hands of JLGS? He should be removed from the poll.

Hmm, Guo Jing's family includes Huang Rong right? And since Huang Rong's the leader of Beggar's Union, the Beggar's Union under XF can't take part in fighting against the leader....But the beggars under Huang Rong will fight against XF's side since XF's not there?
