Default Multiple versions of Gu Long's Liuxing Hudie Jian?

Can anyone tell me the difference between the books titled:

    1. Xin Liuxing Hudie Jian (New Meteor Butterfly Sword)

    2. Liuxing Hudie Jian (Meteor Butterfly Sword)

Is the first really a "new" version of the latter? I am reading the latter, but if the "new" version is revised in some way I may want to read that instead.

    Thanks!

I've never known there was a newer version of Meteor Butterfuly Sword.

Where did you find the newer version?

Thanks for taking a moment to answer.

I don't know that it is a newer version. I was just searching for "Liuxing Hudie Jian" on yesasia.com and a book came up with the title "Xin Liuxing Hudia Jian".

    Here's a link:

It is pretty cheap, but before I bought the wrong book, I wanted to check and see if anyone knew what this was.

    Can anyone explain?

    Default a solution?

It seems that there was a movie titled Xin Liuxing Hudie Jian as well. I'm guessing that the film and book are another writer's continuation of Gu Long's story. Fanfic. That's the best I can make of it.

Maybe it's a new release of the book?
Though I don't know why they'd give it a new name.

I would stick with the original one, sicne that's the one you find most often.
    Because I'm somewhere in between,
    My love and my agony.
