Default The Killing of John Lennon

i just read of a review of this upcoming movie about Mark David Chapman and the events proceding and directly after his murder of John Lennon. The movie is shot as a quasi documentary, and it seems interesting, but i'm afraid i won't like it. i detested catcher in the rye and i found it disgusting how chapman looked upon the book as his guide to life. i have a feeling this movie would just make me very angry. i might storm attica prison and revenge the beatle!

Making matters worse, I suppose, I believe that Lindsay Lohan will be in this movie.

I think Yoko Ono, Paul McCartney, and Ringo Starr have objected to this movie because it throws something of a sympathetic light on Mark David Chapman.

That bastard should rot for murdering Lennon.

Maybe her part was cut after her shenanigans last year.

I'm old enough to remember the night John Lennon was killed. At the time, I didn't know whom he was, although I knew about the Beatles ("Yesterday" and "Yellow Submarine" were the only two Beatles songs I knew at the time). I figured he was somebody important because all the adults (my parents, my teachers) were very upset for the next few days.

It'll be a DVD rental at some point in the future. Not worth going to the cinema for.

    CLOVERFIELD, on the other hand...

Start by getting a copy of BEATLES 1 and listening to it all the way through.

Afterwards, watch the BEATLES ANTHOLOGY DVDs.

Finally, discuss the subject with somebody who was a teenager in the 1960s.

    It'll become evident soon enough.

No, I was born in 1972...two years after the Beatles broke up and eight years before John Lennon died.

But I've always had a preference for the rock music that was popular before I was born...when my parents were young.
