It's not about blaming..it's about commenting. When they first say Rain is the theme song singer, I commented on the appropriateness of whether he should be playing that role. That's different from blaming. And most of my posts talking about blame deals w/ Zhang Yi Mou anyway, if he did make that stupid decision. But seems he's a bit smarter than that.
Stop stirring up trouble!!!
Whoever nominated Vicki... omg, they have GOT to be kidding I'd even rather yearning do her baby voice of You Yi Ge Gu Niang
I think there's a possibility they could choose Jane Zhang since they did have Bibi Zhou recording olympic songs. I personally prefer the former.
For anyone who remembers the spectacular year where Jay Chou rocked up on stage and started rapping at the spring festival show, let's hope there's not a repeat of that. The only worse alternative is Fahrenheit not lip syncing, and dancing
Omg who runs this Olympic committee?
WANG LEE HOM all the way. He can sing his version of "Long De Chuan Ren."

Not so good for China's image.
This is totally unrelated, but I went to the Olympic site in Beijing this summer and I saw that they misspelled "hockey" on one of the signs. Sometimes I'm so proud of my country.

I see that you have recognized this great opportunity for China/Taiwan/whomever to exercise some political engagement.WANG LEE HOM all the way. He can sing his version of "Long De Chuan Ren."
What kind of guy names himself Rain and Bi? Is that codeword for "I love ze cock"?
"Anything you can't say NO to is your MASTER, and you are its SLAVE."
"I disapprove of what I say, but I will defend to the death my right to say it."
I love Rain...
I give him credit for working so hard to get where he's at...
I was one of those disappointed fan who flew to California to see him but oh well..
I wish him BIG Success!
Aja! Aja! Fighting! Fighting! Oppa Bi aka Rain aka Ji-Joon...
This thread is about Rain right?
****Love, Live, and watch Asian Series****
I actually can notice a slight accent. But that's what makes her English all the more exotic/intriguing.
lol....Sis, "fighting, fighting!"
Just curious if you were able to get any compensation for your plain ticket from the promoters etc?
But ya, Rain does have a good singing voice. Now only if he would try to make songs with more singing rather then sound effects and 1-3 words. hehehe
Due to several complaints, I will stop using the terms "Babe" and "Baby" in reference to our female counterpart. They will now be replaced with "B*tch."

As I know , it is a faked news realsed by some peaple who hate Korean stars.
I would rather say, a fake news released by someone that has, no job ,no life and just want to test out public reaction.
The Beijing Olympics organizers, the BOCOG, have denied earlier reports that it had invited South Korean performer, Rain, to sing the theme song at the opening ceremony of the 2008 Olympiad.
An official with the organizing committee said the BOCOG is the only valid source of news related to the Beijing Games, while reports from other media outlets on the selection of artists for the opening performance are unauthentic.
The official also condemned the intention of some performers and their agents of taking advantage of the Olympics for publicity.
He said the details of the opening and closing ceremonies of the Beijing Games are top secrets that wouldn't be announced so early.
A South Korean newspaper, Chosun Ilbo, had reported that Rain, a popular singer in East Asia, has accepted the invitation from the BOCOG to sing at the Games opening gala and detailed talks are underway.
The news was later cited by a personal online blog in China, but triggered strong opposition as 76 percent of more than 10,000 surveyed netizens thought letting a foreigner sing the Olympic theme song was unacceptable.

I'd like to see how Rain's publicist going to explain their 'invitation declination' now...
