Everyone ok with early Ming? - waning of Ming sect, government trying to gain control of wulin?

Need cristal entity to reply and put things in his/her first post for easy referencing.

Since so many of you are requesting the RPG to be put in the early Ming Dynasty, I've made a proposal (well kinda) for the current wulin events and the backbone of our story:

Yuan Dynasty ends, Ming Dynasty starts

Zhang Wuji and Zhao Min disapears

Zhou Zhirou stays the leader of ErMei Sect

Zhu Yuanzhang persecutes the Ming Cult; most of the cult has either died or have been captured

Xiao Zhao from the Persian Ming Cult heard of the incidents and decides to send people over to help the Ming Cult in central plains.

Everyone has lost interest in HS and DS because they have more important things to worry about: their lives

Wulin people have to avoid being captured by Ming Soldiers sent by Zhu Yuanzhang and Mongolians who are currently still posing a threat

Nice continuing on: (although with Zhu Yuanzhang, I prefer him doing it using underhand/strategy methods to control wulin, he won't let the whole wulin know he antagonise them - maybe hirer assassins to kill important heads in secrecy or ploys to get wulin to attack each other).

Shaolin - in a state of recovery post Zhao Min destruction - any shaolin disciples?
Wudang - death of Z3F, 2nd hero Yu leads - anyone want to be wudang disciple?
Er mei - ZZR as you mentioned
Kong dong - refinement of 7 injury fist - any volunteers to be an aspiring Kongdong disciple
Kunlun - new leadership, restoration of glory to He Zudao days
Hua Shan - rise to power leader of the newly risen 5 sword sects
Beggar clan - trying to survive - anyone want to learn dragon palms?
Ming cult - getting screwed over by court, Yang Xiao's death, new fighters from Persia, friction with rest of wulin (any Persian volunteers?)
Courts - who wants to be the eunich that becomes the inventor of the famed Sunflower scroll? or was that in Yuan dynasty ??

I guess most of us can be non-affiliated. Just some ideas. I volunteer to be an assassin.

Don't care, my character in mind not plot dependent.

Someone just make some background plot up. JY was just easy to do.

I don't really care if it's JY or GL-based but I thought it'd be better if most of us are familar with the setting. We're not actually going to be using any JY characters though. We'll be adapting the Sects and Cults but we're going to have anything to do with the characters really. What do you guys think?

If we use the setting of JY's universe, that's fine. I just don't want any JY characters playing major roles.
