I think we should just make a character profile page first. After that the story will flow naturally. It works in the previous RPGs. If we don't do that, this RPG will never come to fruition. Maybe after making the character profile page, more ideas will come out.

can u please list me a few mini sects that are not strong like shaolin, wudang and er mei.

Ok, as suggested by LuNaR, lets think of the sects. At least, gets the ball rolling abit.

Their leader, Zhuo Leng Cheng is pretty powerful, right? But, they are the bad guys in SOD.

ooo im not sure, i never read any novels, just all tvb adaptions and its been a while since i saw SOD 96. i guess i'll just use beggar clan since i know em quite well...

Btw, Kunlun was also featured in Wo Lung Sheng's Mythical Crane Magic Needle. The main hero is from Kunlun Sect. One of the more righteous sect that is not a hypocrite. Martial art quite good too. Of course, it can't be compared to Bai Yun Fei's (I don't know which sect she's from), but still good.

KongDong sect is pretty famous, esp. in HSDS and Ming dynasty. It is considered above 5 sects as it is sometimes put with Shaolin, Wudang, Ermei and Kunlun as the 5 big sects. It's just that they don't get much coverage and there aren't any protagonists or influencial people from that sect. In HSDS, it is part of the 6 sects that invaded Ming cult, with the 5 elders all there. They are famous for 7 fist injury, which to them seem to be highly prized. Weaponary - not sure, probably focus on swords?, internal is decent, hand to hand combat is decent imo.

btw Kidd, in XAJH, Ermei pact had prominant male members too, in fact they were the best of those who attacked XTW and LHC. I think they can't be sect leader though and can't train some of the arts.

Qing Cheng is also constantly mentioned in Jin Yong, I recall them being mentioned as early as TLBB. Prestige wise they seemed pretty good, sometimes mentioned in the same sentence as Shaolin, and they are famous for their sword skill. In XAJH they declined it seems, with Yu CHang Hai, sect leader being crap martial arts wise (he was below all the sect leaders) and as a person.

With this RPG you can make them as prestige or as crap as you like, same as KongDong. No restrictions, just make sure no clashes with other members.

i'm looking for a sect that utilises poison. any suggestions? been a while since i've read any wuxia.

Or you can make your character not from a sect, but just a disciple of a poison expert, like Cheng Li Su from Outer Tale of Flyingfox who is a disciple of 'Poison Hand Medicine King' (Du Shou Yao Wang).
