And Guo had made it perfectly clear that he found the Song emperor and Song ministers to be perfectly contemptible; what he was defending was the people, not the emperor. So, it's not too much of a stretch, if we consider that Zhu Yuanzhuang was doing horrible things to Wulin/the people.

Yes but Huang never did rebel or do anything to the govt. And Guo might have said they were disgusting but he did not even do anything to even the useless Xiangyang Governer (2nd ed) much less the Emperor.

And in this rebellion, note that Zhu had not done anything oppressive to the common folk. In fact, historically, Zhu was a capable Emperor and he was noted as ruthless mainly because he got rid of his loyal supporters after he got the throne.

To clarify, the Yang family (at least on my side) is not rebelling. Yang Fei Yun is merely angered by the events that have occured in the story, and he is against Eunuch Lin.

well to be fair, no one is really rebelling right now... Most of them are just falsly labled as a rebel by the government, but they are not really... Maybe there is like a twist in the story, where in fact Zhu Yuan Zhang is infact a good guy, but it is the Eurnuch, who is secretly controling the government, who is the bad guy and mislead Zhu Yuan Zhang to get rid of his many loyal supporter so they can come to power...

OK, my new 2nd NPC character (1st character is Wang Hong. Maybe I will still introduce him later) is He Kangyu. Pls treat him like any other player's character and don't mess with his story. I have it planned out.

The other NPCs I created like Lin, BFB, 2 Swords, Zhang Liu is free for all as long as you don't mess with continuity and act out of character.

Current Baddies:

Eunuch Lin: The ultimate bad guy of the story. As far as we know, he knows a whole lot of powerful martial arts. He also drinks the blood of virgin boys in order to stay alive and increase his cultivation of internal power. He is also known to be in touch with Japanese rebels. His main enemies are: Wulin, and most recently Zhu Yuan Zhang.

Black Faced Buddha: Revived by his Ba Hwang Wudi Shen Tong. Plans to get revenge on Eunuch Lin for giving him the "wacky" scroll. His main enemy: Eunuch Lin.

Two Swords~Zhang Wuque & Hua Wuji: The two lackeys of Black Faced Buddha. Loyal and is stronger than most Wulin members. They are however the weakest of the villains. They follow the will of their Master.

Zhu Yuan Zhang: The current King of the Ming Dynasty. After his accession to the throne he has became evil. His current goal is to get rid of all the powerful martial artists who can pose a threat to his kingdom. Most recently he found out Eunuch Lin wants to betray him. His main enemies: Wulin, Eunuch Lin.

Ding Zhitan: The Leader of the powerful Five Poison Sect. His has profound martial arts and lightness kungfu. He also excels in the usage of poisons. The only field he lacks in is close hand-to-hand combat. He works for profit so he has no real enemy.

Kyuubi: The Japanese rebel leader who had a chat with Eunuch Lin in the forest recently. He is quite well-trained in the art of Yamato. Second best fighter next to his subordinate; Gouryu. His main enemies: Japanese King, and is currently trying to help Eunuch Lin fight against Zhu Yuan Zhang and Wulin.

Gouryu: A master monk from Japan. The most powerful martial artist in Japan (besides SWORD GOD). Currently confronting Ding Zhitan for some information (presumably the MARTIAL ART TREATISE OF THE LAST YAN EMPRESS) He is also following the will of his master.

One minor note; Ding Zhitan works for 'profit'; not necessarily (and not usually) money. Profit can be an expansion of his organization, greater power or benefit to him, etc. etc. etc. But all in all, you got the essence of the fella right.

I have a suggestion for SWORD GOD ZHUO...I mean DOU YAOQIAN! He should be a user of the legendary swordplay of...the SWORD MAIDEN OF YUEH, AH QING JIAN FA! He will live in the forest...in a small palace...with a LOT of hot girls. What do you guys think?

Do you need Kyuubi for your plot? I would like Gouryu to finish him off.

And is anyone going to continue the story of Minamoto and those other Japanese loyalists? Or are they going to be ELOC?

BTW, Luoyang is in Henan and Mt Zhongnan is in Xi'an and Peach Blossom Island is god knows where! The scene at the inn and palace took place over like 1 day. How did our friends _run_/sail to their homebases in 1 day is getting very TVB.

I suggest we advance the date some weeks to get things in sync.

Maybe he next few posts should deal with just individual chars and NPCs and not have them come together to move the plot so that we can advance the time to let our buddies come back from Xi'an, Peach Island and Yamato.

That 1 pouch beggar (remember that he is escorted by Twin Sabre Yan Hongye) is none other then Jie Feng (Chief in SOD)*.

Gouryu is a lot like Ren Woxing. Only respects power. If Kyuubi is some cowardly scaredly guy, Gouryu will not care for him.

*Since this story is in early Ming, I think it would be fun to have cameos from SOD. Would be fun to see the young Jie Feng, RWX, Fang Zhen, Yue Buqun, DFBB,Zuo lengchan, Feng Qingyang etc etc make cameo appearances as young kids mentioned in passing. Ignore the fact that adult Lin Yuantu should be alive now, or we can work him in somehow.

LOL! You're linking this to SPW. But in reality I imagine SPW to be a few decades after this because in HSDS there was no mention of the 5 Sword Sects at all. Oh wait...that's right...a young beggar becomes an old beggar decades later...

The original. Not the watered down DFBB or Lin Yuantu version.

In XAJH, DFBB also took herbs to boost his power as part of the training. So I made Lin drink herb fortified blood as well.

But note that for the XAJH guys to be here, Lin Yuantu has to be ignored. But heck, since we are messing with JY's timeline who cares! Chuck in Xia Ke Xing references if necessary. And some Gu Long too!
