Well, Gillian has been hiding so it's much more of her company that is doing the sugar coating. I think the company is just making excuses for her for now but as the news dies down, they will no longer promoter her, freeze all of her projects, and let her go quietly as they don't want to seem publically heartless to one of their artists.

If Gillian does survive this incident, I say, she was really destined to be a celebrity because this is not the first incident that has placed her career at risk.

you do realize that the company has the power on the artist to do and not do.. they are the mastermind in the direction of her career.. i wouldn't put all the blame on her.. they throught they could get through this by saying that it's fake but obviously not.. poor gillian.. i was hoping to see her more in ancient dramas.i really enjoy her drama with Nicholas.. but sad sad

You certainly haven't been to asianfanatics much where many fans who keep on saying the pictures are fake etc have admited that they have not seen the pictures and don't want to. Some who have seen it, keep on finding excuses to deny that they are real.

I made this conclusion not out of the blue. It's after I read all the 'fans in denial posts' that I made this conclusion. Plus, yes, internet are widely use now, but still, not everyone uses it and some who uses it, just know how to do the basic stuff. Some couldn't care less about this news and would waste their time looking for it.

Btw, there was once a rumour of my idol's sex video floating around and my housemate told me it's sold at a nearby bootleg video store. But, I didn't go buy it, because I don't want to support the people who captured and sell the videos. Neither did I go search out the Carina rape video or other similar scandal pics/video. I only search out this current pictures because of the 'is it real or fake?' debate and want to see for myself whether it's real or fake.

We are talking about Asian mainstream standard here and not your French independant movie standard. And for Asian meanstream movie (i.e. porn movie excluded), it's daring.

By the way, when all of this blows over, I think it has a great plot and would make an awesome movie. It could have different sub-plots, i.e. EG story, EC (Ed-Ceci), NC (Nic-Ceci), EB (Ed-Bobo). And then the main storyline would be the Kira vs. Edison, and the detective/police/media thing in the background. One of the best plots for a long time..much better than the recent junk they put into theaters.

I agree wholeheartedly! Thank you Edison. Thank you mysterious dude who stole pics off Edison's PC. This whole thing is just soooooooo great. Should we cast Nic, another great playboy to be Edison? Wouldn't that just sell out every theatre?

I guess the only true winner of this scandal are the bystanders and ppl who don't like the HK entertainment scene, like us (the former) and me (former and latter). I haven't paid this much attention to HK gossip news ever, but I read this thread everytime I am at SPCNET.

I can't believe Edison even bonked Princess Fragrance. I didn't see that series but good lord. He just rocks so much as a playboy. I always thought of him as a wannabe with no talent, but I really am gaining a lot of respect for him. He clearly has the charm to get himself into show business. He does deserve to be famous.

He still doesn't have any more talent than he did before (which is not much), but to be famous sometimes you just have to have the people skills to make the right connections, and he certainly has them.

well jolin tsai might be trouble since she is connected to the whole TW industry, but edison has backup from CLOT, so that should cancel out. maggie q, well she plays action heroine and stuff, but she is a stick figure and she doesnt have any bf to back her up. and the rest of the people arnt so famous

All girls associated with Ed should keep quiet until this scandal cools down. One never knows if a lewd picture will show up the next morning on the net. It's reasonable to assume that he has pics of most of the women he slept with.
