Charlene is not only a Twin. She has established herself quite well as an actresss too. She and Gillian have filmed several movies independant of one another. People in Hong Kong are getting bored of Joey. Besides albums and random rare acting gigs, Joey is unactive. If EEG promotes and splashes Joey's face more than this, I'm afraid, regardless of Joey's great voice and talent, it may turn sour. As for the separate incident with regards to Gillian being snapped changing, simply ask yourself this: Are the circumstances totally the same if u were being secretly snapped indecently exposed by total strangers who are obviously going to show the pics to the whole world vs being snapped by your lover in a moment's spur and probably coupled with promises that the pics would be deleted or remain private? I guess the nature of the pictures (Edison's and the secret changing shots) already reveal the difference.

I won't say whether her tears were real or fake since i cant read her mind but surely you would feel more upset over something which was done against your will as opposed to something u did willingly? As for her comment about feeling ashamed/embarrassed in the eyes of her young fans regarding the changing pics, what has it got to do with the current pics? Did she make that comment and then proceed to distribute the sexual pics Edison took of her to the public?

Just for the record, I am not and was not ever against Gillian or any of the women involved. I haven't followed the entertainment scene for years. Aside from Gillian and Cecilia, I don't even recognize the other women. I haven't contributed any $ to buy albums, go to concerts, or watch their movies (well, i take that back, i did rent a couple movies of Cecilia).

I just think it's great entertainment how the scandal unfolds before the public's eyes. From a neutral standpoint, I do see that the media's criticisms are harsh and unfair, but that's how things work in tinsel town. Fans buy into an image and they have certain expectations, whether reasonable or not.

The only person I dislike in this whole affair is Ed, but I've always disliked him. His "bad boy" image has never impressed me and add to that his collection of porn. Well, he still hasn't impressed me.

as far as the image goes, it doesnt really matter. look at cecilia, she has a party girl image, and we still make such a huge deal about her. the only thing is, she only poses nude, so its not as big of a deal as actually engaging in sex (gillian). bobo engages in sex too, but her popularity has never been big, so she doesnt have as much critism as gillian. from spiderman "with great power, coems great respnsibility"

and dont get me wrong, i did feel sorry for gillian after her changing incident in malaysia, but the thing is, she way way way exagerrated everything and it made her seem like she was using this incident for promotion. (before this, charlene was way ahead of her in terms of popularity, though this is only speculation from me, i think gillian got more popular after the incident) and if u look at the photos that were snapped from her, it only reveal her bra strap and upper shoulder, which was nothing compared to the bikinis shot she took for her album photos.

^Although, I don't support Twins, doesn't mean I absolutely despise them either. Actually, I think Gillian has always been the more popular one. Despite Gillian's weak acting and okay singing abilities and limited projects, she still manages to be above in terms of popularity but as for big projects go, Charlene receives the bigger portion so people tend to think, big projects, immense popularity, which isn't always true.

All I'm saying is, the people that are discussing how this sex incident shouldn't dent Gillian's career are adults and non-fans who perceive this incident from a mature aspect. I totally agree. Just like, if you are a football star you shouldn't be dog fighting.(well not really a good example lol) Basically, there is a risk at everything you do as a celeb. There will always be pple looking for your faults and exploiting them. So you have to be extra careful.
