should you be telling kids that anyways? who wants their grandmother to tell them something like that?

LOL, but that vegas lap dance will be a shocker.

How much time? Depends on when you decide to go. My friend and I have never gone anywhere before so she wants to do a lot of sight seeing. We're planning on visiting most of the hotels there. Not much gambling since no one wants to gamble. So during the day we'll walk around sight seeing. At night we will be clubbing. If you want to tag along with us I don't think we'll have any problems. Unless you're going to feel weird walking with two asian girls all over the place. Or else if you come with friends, we can plan to meet at one of the casino's restaurants or something. If you feel uncomfortable then you can leave us and do stuff with your friends. That is why I hope you come with friends, just in case we don't 'click' so that you won't feel like the trip was a waste. Let me warn you, my friend and I are weird. We aren't your typical asian girls.

MGM Mirage: New Offers for Excalibur Hotel & Casino, Circus Circus Reno & The MGM Grand Las Vegas

MGM Mirage (the Las Vegas Hotels company, not the specific hotel) is offering a new round of discounts for some of its Las Vegas Casino and Resorts. Here's the low down:

At the Excalibur Hotel and Casino, you can take advantage of the "20-20-20 Offer", which includes rates from $61/night, $20 off call-in rate, $10 dining credit at The Steakhouse at Camelot, a $10 dining credit at The Roundtable Buffet, 2 free drinks at any casino floor bar, $10 off Tournament of Kings show and $5 off Thunder from Down Under, Louie Anderson, and Sylvia Brown, $10 off any body treatment or facial from 7am - 9am in The Royal Treatment Spa and Fitness Center, 1 free admission to fitness center, and $10 Free Play with new enrollment in Player's Club. Use promotion code EM85 for this offer. This offer is good for stays between February 15 and May 22, 2008, and the offer expires on February 6, 2008.

The Circus Circus Reno Hotel and Casino has a promotion called "Play & Stay for Free". If you play 3 hours of tracked play (Sun-Thur) or 5 hours (Fri & Sat) and you will receive One Complimentary Room Night. If you book in February, you will also be eligible for discounted room rates, starting from $29 a night. Use promotion code NM208 to access these savings. This offer is good for stays between February 1 and February 29, 2008 and expires on February 29, 2008.

If neither of these offers suits you, there is also a coupon code for the MGM Grand Las Vegas. Use promotion code INB150 and you can gain an "additional discount on top of already low online rates". Unfortunately, those are the only details. There's no specific information on the discount rate, but a test booking for a 2 night 2 person stay from February 13 to February 15 produces a discount of $68.98 compared to booking normally, so feel free to to take the promo code for a spin! The offer is non-refundable and may not be canceled or changed. This is good for travel from January 31, 2008 to April 30, 2008. The offer expires on April 30, 2008.

My Denver trip is the weekend of March 14-16. Which means I'll be available the weekend that you'll going. But sadly, I'm nowhere near rich enough to spend $400+ to fly to another state to have lunch with someone.
I would love to change the world, but they won't give me the source code.

The cost of meeting GuGu is too great!

    Airfare + hotel + food + entertainment money + gambling money > CrazyT's funds.

As you can see from my math equation, I can't afford to go.

Too bad my work schedule is packed; otherwise, I'd come meet up with ya, GuGu.

So, what's the headcount of those going so far?

Looks like Vegas might not be happening to me. I'll be dropped around five grand on a loan for a friend.

Awwwww, that is just so generous and kind of you!
You know, I'm in need of a cool friend like you. Plus, I don't need 5 grand. 1 grand is more than enough for my trip to Vegas and hit the blackjack tables with GuGu. What say you, buddy?

    Default Restaurants

Okay, so one of my friend is willing to cough up a few hundred dollars for a nice up scale dinner in Vegas. Any suggestions?

Have any opinions on these restaurants?
