i'm sure you'll have plenty of time for gambling.
    have fun and win lots!
    oh, take pics please!
if possible can you film the pirate show at treasure island for me?
i wanted to see it, but none of my friends would go with me at night.

Enjoy your new car, I'm sure you deserve it . I'm a little jealous cuz I've never owned a new car. Maybe I'll win one in Vegas .
lol yeah, i guess i deserve it.
no new car for you? wahhh i've had 3 cars so far and all of them were brand new. that's something i'm picky about. my car has to be new cause i have this thing about driving a used car. i'm not comfortable with it. when i first got my license my dad gave me his old car and i didn't take it from him but instead i went and bought a new one. my dad was mad at first cause he thought i would get the car damaged and lose my money, cause i'm very clumsy. i mean i don't get into accidents but ummm i do stupid stuff like back up into the garbage bin and stuff. but i've improved on my driving skills and so far no accidents. yeap, i just got the remote start installed, the interior fabric protection, and the diamond fusion for my windsheild installed today. wahhh i'm so glad i got the remote start! i can warm up my car before evening going out there. so wonderful!

I can't promise anything because my schedule is filling up quickly. Going to see Cirque du Soleil - Love (Beatles theme) too. Do you know if they allow cameras in shows? My cell phone takes pictures and short films (15 secs), but I want to buy a proper camera and maybe even a video camera before I go.

I got permission from my boss to post the site where her wedding will be webcast. I'll post it here so you all can see how a proper Vegas wedding is done. Last I heard she's trying to find an Elvis costume for me to wear. If I'm not too drunk, I'll try to remember to say 'hi' .

Honestly, if you really like gambling...I'd recommend the stock market instead. You have a much better chance of making money

I've made enough money on the stock market (no fun) - that's how I can afford to p*ss some of it away at the card tables (great fun). It may sound insane, but there's really nothing like getting bombed and losing a few hundred, laughing like a mad fiend all the while. Not a problem as long as you can afford it - never gamble with the mortgage payment and never expect to win. Of course I do manage to win now and then which makes it even better.

Gambling, seems like long time ago.
Here are some little known facts about different games.

Pai Gow, yes it is a slow game, push very often but if you win, you pay 5% to the house. Only way to win big is to be in the dealer's position (once every round) where you take on all players. Do this only when the dealer is hot( you become the hot dealer, else you will go broke).
    Skill level - little

Blackjack, the real objective is not to get 21, contrary to believes promoted by the casinos. The real objective is to beat the dealer, and that can be achieved even if you do not get close to 21.
    Different strategies:
    1. Guess the next card( many new players do this). Skill level - zero, Players using this method should take up religion instead.
    2. Basic Strategy, used by most players. you can win if the cards are with you but the basic strategy is still losing on a long run. Skill level - low( memorising some rules)
    3. Basic(and advance counting), strategy used by professional Blackjack players.
Casinos ban counters. Gives you a bigger advantage than Basic strategy.
Skill level - high (including to need to avoid detection).
    4. Reverse count strategy, still relatively unknown strategy that can yield good results. Skill level - very high [ If you want to know more, pm me]

Baccarat, this is a game where there is no skills involved. The rules as to when the dealer or player draws another card are predetermined.
One way to play is to observe who is winning at the table, just follow him/her. You have a better chance to win than to use other methods.
In a high stake table at Rama Casino, a girl betted 13 hands in a row, all on player. She won 12 hands out of 13, she won $110,000, at $10,000 per bet. Every one at the table betted with her, we all won, and the house did not get a penny in commissions.
She is Thai too. Guess what, after 3 months, I never saw her again. She lost eveything plus more.

For those of you who are Canadians, do you remember the Chinese guy who ripped off the Chinese Government of US$10 billion, and escaped to Vancouver before they could arrest him. I can tell you some interesting stories about him at the Niagara Falls Casinos.

Enough of rambling, I hope I did not bored you.

I'm off to Las Vegas tomorrow for a week of fun and lost wages .

My plans include a drive-thru wedding, VIP tour of some place with dolphins, and a helicopter tour of the Grand Canyon.

If anyone wants to see the wedding I'll be attending, it will be webcast live on Sunday at 4:00pm Las Vegas time (or somewhere there abouts) at this link. It's also available for one month after. Access: Ron Knight. Windows Media Player 7 required.

Caution: may include scenes of old drunk people .

The pictures of me are on my co-workers' cameras. I managed to get four on my own, but they didn't turn out that well. Here's one...

I highly recommend the Grand Canyon helicopter tour. It was a bit expensive buy worth it if you've never been before and don't plan on going again. One of those once-in-a-lifetime experiences.

I mostly shot video which I'm trying to edit. It's turning out to be a long process - took six hours yesterday to figure out how to download to my pc. Will probably have to buy another video-editing software as the one I have doesn't support HD.

Hey, John, thanks for sharing! I would go for this once-a-lifetime experience, if I have a chance. I like the Grand Canyon pictures best. The photos remind me of a Jurassic Park-alike adventure. So cool!

i went to a really good italian restaurant in the venetian called enoteca san marco. it's in their little indoor square, and it's opened by mario batali. it's cute and affordable, and you get to people watch.

god, i am SO hitting up vegas on my 21st bday. must save now~ i want limo rides, champagne, being pampered, and never ending nightlife!!

pemb- isn't $139 supposed to be considered 'expensive' in vegas? i swear i've seen prices like $59/night or so..unless that $139 room is a suite or something

I really miss Vegas right now. My favorite noodle restaurant. My favorite Korean restaurant. All those bubble tea shops! All those free drinks at the casino! My big fluffy bed! My big hot tub! My two hot Italian guys! My two hot Korean boys! I really wanna go back right now. *checks savings account* SHOOT! *checks credit card balance* OMO! *cries*
