So finally made my decisions and booked the vacation package last night Staying at Luxor!! Plus got 2 free tickets to KA....seats are up high....but better than nothing ^_^

i'm leaving on friday, so may 14th! two more days! yippeeee! then i'll come back on monday the 17th, it's a short trip this time because we can't be too wild.

The girls are going on their bachelorette party at the beginning of July. Vegas seem to be the destination for one-last-hurrah. I'm thinking maybe I'll pick New Orleans instead when it's my turn..... nah, Vegas is more fun! Hehe.

some other friends went to new orleans for a bachelorette party. they stayed drunk the entire trip.

i'm having trouble finding a cheap flight. my friend gave me the meager budget of 350 for flight and 3 nights hotel. i can't even find a flight under that price.

i'm back! wow, this trip was awesome! don't really want to say it but not gambling in vegas has really opened my eyes to other things.... well i did play the slots for a couple hours a night. i went up and down the strip like 5 times this trip! i saw all the free shows at the hotels, ate at all the restaurants i've wanted to eat since my first trip, visited all the hotels, shopped at the places i wanted, and i woke up in time for breakfast for two days! and guess what? i still came home with $200 bucks leftover from my budget!

with all that said, i really have to express that i was not fond of the services i got from the venetian. the hotel itself is beautiful! it was clean and superb! but the hotel staff... well they were kind of a pain to work with.

first of all, when our limo pulled up to the entrance no one came over to help us with our luggage. when we booked it said we would get personalized escort right when our limo pulled up. we were supposed to get express check-in in a secluded check-in area and complimentary welcome drinks, we got none of that.

so my friends and i went to wait in line to get checked in, the line was soooo long! after almost 20mins a hotel staff person came and signaled for a couple of us to go towards the elevators and up to the other lobby, she did it very rudely. that was all she said, she didn't tell us that it was like 4 corners before we got to the elevator and that we had to turn left and around the corner after that! so we were kind of lost. then we waited another 15 minutes to get checked in. then the lady at the desk, i don't know if she was having a bad day but she didn't look friendly at all, told us that we had booked for 3 adults and 1 child. my friends and i looked at each other in shock. the youngest gal was 18, she is not a child, so they said we wouldn't get complimentary breakfast for her. i just shrugged it off because i was sure i wasn't going to wake up in time for breakfast anyways. then she quickly handed us our keys and told us to go down this hall and we'd see our elevator. well that hall led to another three hallways and a couple more turns, oh we were carrying our luggage this whole time, no one offered any help.

after we got settled in one of my friend and i went down to gamble, we sat at the slots and put in $20 each, the server came around but didn't offer us any drinks, she was about to walk away and i had to stop her in her tracks, she didn't look happy to serve us.. that was the last we saw of her. we were in that spot for almost 2 hours, we didn't get our drinks. it wasn't just that area or that server, it was all over the casino where the servers were ignoring us, well i felt like they were, and we weren't just playing a penny a spin, i was spending about $1.50 per spin! after i won i told my friend we weren't going to gamble at the venetian ever again.

now we went to get in line for a taxi because i wanted to take them to chinatown to go eat at my fave restaurant. some ***** and her crew cut to the front of the line, upsetting everyone else that was waiting which started a shouting match. the hotel staff didn't do shit about it! they didn't get security until after 15minutes when it was about to get physical.

the next day we went to the pool. the staff didn't greet us or tell us where the towel was. the server never came around once to ask if we wanted drinks.

i tried to dine and find entertainment outside of the venetian during my stay and that worked out well, but i would NOT book at this place ever again.
